The moment it uttered those words, the world returned to normal.
He returned to his room in the camp, on the seventh floor.

The room was silent.
Still, it was boiling hot, the momentum of Uriel's body slowly coming to rest. His flaming hair returned to normal and his hammering heart calmed down.
His veins settled and his blood fell dormant once more.
"…"
Uriel sighed. He ran a hand through his hair, then took a deep breath.
"Defiance is my only path to Godhood…" he muttered under his breath.
Though he tried to suppress it, a grin still formed across his face.
"So that's why I shattered the Gate of Truth and killed the All Seeing Eye in the past… to become a God."
He chuckled. "Oh well."
For some reason, he found himself far more excited than afraid. What worried him quite a bit, though, was the Titan projection.
But he decided not to think about it for now.
Time had taught him patience. In due time, he'd learn all he needed to know, just as he always had.
