Chapter 68 - The Training of the Two Households

The revelation of Manasa's 5000-year age hadn't just shocked the elders; it changed the way the younger generation looked at power. As they set up camp near the "Glistening Falls," Veer sat away from the group, sharpening his blade.

Priya approached him, leaning her head on his shoulder. "Veer, you've been silent since that man Madhu appeared. Are you still thinking about what he said?"

Veer sighed, sheathing his sword. "He called himself my grandfather, Priya. But he attacked my father without mercy. If he is the 'Original Father,' then our blood is cursed. I need to be stronger to protect you... and my second wife."

Veer looked toward the edge of the camp where his second wife was training with the 20 men Rudra had healed (Deepak's squad). She was a fierce contrast to Priya—where Priya was soft and caring, his second wife was a storm of steel and discipline.

The Yakshini's Lesson

Manasa walked toward the trio, her feet barely touching the grass.

"Prince Veer," she said, her voice echoing. "You have two wives who depend on you. One is your shield, the other is your heart. But your 'Black Aura' is currently a wild beast. It feeds on your anger, which is exactly what Madhu wants."

She held out her hand, and a small seed grew into a massive wooden staff in seconds. "Your father Rudra is stabilizing his soul. Now, I will teach you and your wives the 'Harmony of the Trinity.' To defeat a God-level villain, a man cannot fight alone. He must fight as one with those he loves."

The Shocking Insight

Manasa turned her gaze to Priya. "And you, little one. You asked for a kiss on your birthday? That kiss was more than a gesture. Because of Veer's aura, you have unknowingly absorbed a fragment of his shadow. You are no longer just a human."

Priya gasped, looking at her hands. A faint, dark mist was beginning to swirl around her fingers. The tension between the two households finally reached a breaking point. Sara, Rudra's wife, stood at the center of the camp, her presence commanding respect. She looked at her husband, then at her step-son Veer, who was standing protectively near his two wives, Priya and Chitra.

"Rudra," Sara said firmly, "We are being followed. My senses as your wife tell me that Nara isn't just coming for the world—he is coming for his sister, Priya."

Priya clutched Veer's arm. She was the daughter of King Nala, and her brother Nara had turned into a monster. "Veer, I can feel him," she whispered. "He's close."

The Two Queens of Veer

Chitra, Veer's second wife, stepped forward. Although she is now part of the family journey, her soul remains tied to the 5000-year-old bond she shares with Veer. She unsheathed her blade, the steel reflecting the moonlight.

"Let him come," Chitra declared. "Priya is the heart of this family, and I am the shield. Veer, give the command."

Veer looked at his father, Rudra. The two men—father and son—stood back-to-back.

Rudra, supported by Isha, Keerthi, Shanthi, Sara, and Manasa.

Veer, supported by Priya and Chitra.

The Ambush

Suddenly, the trees around them didn't just move—they dissolved. Madhu (the fake father) didn't return, but instead, a second God-level shadow appeared. This was the General of the Void.

"So," the General hissed, looking at Priya. "The daughter of Nala is hiding behind a Prince and a Maharaja. Nara wants his sister back. Give her to us, and we might let the rest of your wives live."

Rudra's aura exploded into silver and black. Sara stepped beside him, her own power resonating with his. "You will have to go through the wives of the Maharaja first," she warned.

Veer stood in front of Priya and Chitra, his dark slash charging up. "And you'll have to kill the Prince of the Void to tou

ch my wives."The emerald glow surrounding Manasa began to vibrate with a dangerous intensity. Her "Yakshini Curse" was reaching its peak. She turned her ancient, forest-green eyes toward Rudra.

"The sun has set, Maharaja," Manasa said, her voice like a hypnotic melody. "The energy within me is overflowing. If we do not bond now, this forest—and perhaps your family—will be consumed by my power. Come."

Rudra, knowing the stakes of the pact, followed her into the glowing sanctuary of the trees. They spent the entire night together, their energies intertwining to keep the Yakshini's curse under control.

The Jealousy of the Queens

Back at the camp, the fire burned low, but the tension was high. Rudra's other four wives—Isha, Keerthi, Shanthi, and Sara—sat in a circle, their hearts heavy with jealousy.

When morning came and Rudra returned, looking exhausted but spiritually balanced, Sara was the first to approach him. She took his hand, her eyes pleading. "My Lord... I see the bond you share with the Yakshini. I am your wife too. I want that same closeness, that same union. Please, can we not have a situation like that for us?"

Rudra looked at the horizon, sensing the dark energy of the God-level villains approaching. He touched Sara's cheek gently but shook his head. "Sara, it is not the time. Manasa's situation is a matter of survival and curses. We are in the middle of a war zone. We must move."

Veer's Refusal and the Revelation

Nearby, the younger household was facing its own drama. Chitra, remembering their 5,000-year-old bond from their past life, leaned toward Veer. "The Maharaja has his duties... but what about us, Veer? Can we not share a night like that?"

Veer, focused entirely on the shadows in the trees, didn't even look back. "No, Chitra. My blade must stay sharp. I will not let my guard down while my father's life is at risk."

Frustrated and curious about the woman who had taken his father's attention, Veer marched over to Manasa. He stood tall, his black aura flickering.

"Listen to me," Veer commanded. "I am Veer, the eldest son of Rudra. You have entered our lives and demanded my father's time. Just who are you? How long have you lived?"

Manasa looked at the young prince with a maternal, knowing smile. "My son," she whispered, "I have watched empires turn to dust. I have seen the stars shift their positions. My age... is 5,000 years."

A deafening silence fell over the camp. Isha, Sara, Shanthi, and Keerthi all froze. Veer's eyes widened in total shock. The woman his father was now bound to was older than the very history of t

heir kingdom. The peace of the forest was shattered as the earth began to tremble. Out of the shadows of the Void, 1,000 Asuras (Demons) emerged, their eyes glowing with bloodlust. These weren't ordinary foot soldiers; they were elite hunters sent by the God-level villains to test the bloodline.

Without waiting for a command, Veer's wives—Priya and Chitra—leaped into action.

Priya, using her Solar Fragment power from King Nala, blasted the front lines with radiant heat.

Chitra, wielding her past-life combat experience, carved through the Asura ranks like a whirlwind of steel.

However, the sheer number of Asuras began to overwhelm them. Veer stood paralyzed, a sudden, cold fear gripping his heart as he saw his wives surrounded.

The Voice from the Abyss

Suddenly, the world around Veer went silent. The sounds of battle faded, and a booming, ancient voice echoed inside his mind.

"You tremble? A Prince of my blood does not tremble," the voice thundered.

Veer looked around in the darkness of his own subconscious. "Who is there?"

"I am your Great-Grandfather. You have only mastered two skills of our lineage. Today, I grant you the remaining three. Take it—the Kalaastra (The Weapon of Time & Death)."

The Serpent of Death

Veer's eyes snapped open. They were no longer human; they were glowing with a terrifying, abyssal purple light. He reached into the air, and a weapon manifested—the Kalaastra, a blade that seemed to swallow the very light around it.

Veer didn't run. He didn't scream. He simply stood his ground and whispered the ancient mantra:

"Antham Maranam Lone Chevum Sarpam."

(In the end, death is the serpent that hears all.)

Suddenly, a massive, spectral serpent—over 10 kilometers in radius—coiled around the entire battlefield. The 1,000 Asuras froze, their souls paralyzed by the divine pressure.

Veer took a single, calm step. He swung the Kalaastra in a simple arc.

SHINK!

In that one swing, the 1,000 Asuras weren't just killed—they were sliced into one million pieces. A rain of black blood poured from the sky, soaking the forest.

The Demon Transformation

As the blood rain fell, Veer's skin began to change. His body turned a deep, obsidian black, identical to the Demon Form of his father, Rudra. His aura was so thick that the ground beneath him cracked and turned to ash.

Manasa, the 5,000-year-old Yakshini, watched from the sidelines, her heart racing. 'I have lived five millennia,' she thought, 'and I have never seen a hybrid reach this level of evolution so quickly. He isn't just Rudra's son... he is the reincarnation of the Original Void.'

Rudra looked at his son, seeing the black skin and the terrifying power. He felt a mix of pride and fear. The "Great-Grandfather" had interfered, and now Veer was

no longer just a boy.
