Chapter 16
The last night at Blaze was more chilly than ever. It was like the night was recognizing that they were going to go home tomorrow at last. Again, just like the day before, Sean was the one who called them out to see a box of drinks.
As expected, it was the night where everyone could open up about themselves, and also show appreciation to the other person and possibly, could say the person they are interested in, especially if you are dared to.
"It's like a fever dream, I can't believe it's the end" Sean said.
"I want to use this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you except, Garrick and Zabrina" Mason started and stared at the duo with a glare. "It's been a beautiful ride and I will cherish the moments"
"What's your problem? Just say what you mean" Garrick retorted and Zabrina scoffed, looking at Mason in disbelief.
"He's obviously talking about yesterday" Harry stated.
"I should be the one with questions, why did you do that to Fabiola yesterday?" Mason asked.
"This is about Fabiola? This thing, called Fabiola?" Zabrina scoffed, pointing at her and Fabiola looked at her with a straight face "Don't you dare call me a thing"
"What nonsense" Jasmine scoffed.
"The audacity she has is really something. Have you looked at yourself?" Natalia asked with her hand on her chin and Zabrina wanted to send a backlash but Mason interrupted as he got up in anger "You must be insane! How dare you call her a thing"
Braxton got up, to hold him back "It's okay Mason, calm down"
He looked at Braxton and then, to his held hand, as he nodded and sat down.
Braxton looked at Zabrina and Garrick, before saying "Care to repeat what you just said about 'a Thing' again? Who the hell do you think you are?Do you know you can go to prison for what you did? Is it because the Show still has you here that's why you think you are relevant? I am glad to tell you that you are not"
"Fuck you Braxton! You used me too! And stop lying that I did anything to her!" Zabrina got up in anger, pointing fingers at him.
"I had nothing to do with this" Garrick said, adjusting in his seat, making Zabrina to glare at him. Who was the one agreeing to all her plans?
"If the show doesn't do anything to you then I will, you will see yourself in court!" Braxton spoke as he sat down and Zabrina froze. Who was she kidding? He wasn't joking, this man had the power to keep her in jail, she suddenly thought about what was wrong with her.
"Still, I didn't mean to harm her or anything, my hands must have mistakenly splashed some water on her face" she cooled down saying it.
"Lying will earn you more years in prison, I can just see it" Braxton shook his head.
"We can't sit with such deceit, Zabrina. The theme of the show is love, so kindly excuse us" Harry spoke.
Zabrina was only thinking about not going to prison so she nodded furiously as she took a bottle and started walking away. Immediately she was out of sight, everyone's attention turned to Garrick who was looking at her leaving.
"What?" He inquired, when he noticed their stares.
"You don't want to go to prison too, right? We all know it was a joint effort" Fabiola questioned with a smirk.
"What? I will never harm you Fabiola, I have no reason to"
"Garrick? Leave" Mason said with one breath, trying to relax himself and Garrick looked at him in surprise.
Garrick looked at everyone and when he saw no one was giving him face, he stood up with a sigh and left.
"Shameless couple there, they deserve each other, they haven't just realized it yet" Jasmine said and they are shared a laugh.
"Well, now that they are gone, I can finally breathe the fresh air" Mason said and looked at Fabiola with a smile, she couldn't help but smiled back.
"Truth, Mason, are you still in love with Fabiola?" Sean questioned, chugging a lot of his drink.
'So that's why he had been silent' Fabiola thought. He had been drowning in his liquor. She almost laughed as she remembered the day he also got drunk with Natalia but remembered, he just asked Mason a daring question.
She looked at Mason, unsure. He didn't have to answer this, he could just turn this dow…
"Yes" Mason said with a straight face and there came some HUMs and SIGHs while Fabiola's heart broke a million pieces, it hurt not being able to reciprocate his love.
"But it's okay, I just want her happy" he added and she looked away with tears threatening to fall.
"Wow, same with me. I still want to be with Jasmine" Sean said giggling as he looked at Jasmine who looked like she wanted to cry.
"Wow. Let's… uhm… let's talk about our ages" Natalia said, seeing the situation escalating "I'm 20 years old"
"Wait. What?" Jasmine asked, looking at Natalia in surprise.
"Twenty? Like 20, the number?" Harry asked in surprise too.
"You guys shouldn't do this" Natalia said, with a whiny voice.
"Wow, you are so young" Fabiola said, cleaning her tears.
"Interesting, let's say our occupation, starting from Harry" Jasmine suggested. She was itching for everyone to know what he did.
"Okay. I'm a model" Harry revealed.
There were many WOWs from everyone except Jasmine.
"I'm a beauty influencer, everyone" Jasmine said as she pointed at herself.
"No wonder there" Mason said and they all laughed.
"I'm working in the entertainment industry" Braxton said and there was hoots of happiness from everyone.
Fabiola suddenly noticed something. Why did he keep saying he works in the entertainment industry? Why doesn't he say modeling in particular? There was just something unnatural about it.
"Uhm Sean, what about you?" Natalia asked, since it was his turn but the man was looking so wasted, looking at the ground with uttermost interest and she sighed "I plead to everyone but I happen to know Sean's occupation since we went to paradise together, I will help. He's an actor on Broadway"
"Oh that's nice" Jasmine beamed.
"Yes, it is" Mason agreed as they all clapped for drunken Sean.
The night was spent with them saying their occupations- Fabiola said what she had told Braxton before, she was in between jobs. Mason was a chef, all the more reason he loved the kitchen.
They talked about their various occupations but Fabiola couldn't help but notice Braxton didn't say much about modeling but kept adding any contribution when anything concerning the entertainment industry was mentioned.

6th day.
Final day of being in Single's blaze, but for Averie, it was the third day since she started chasing Fabian but he wouldn't just give her any face. She had abandoned her surgery and instead, visited the hospital more than normal, all to see him.
Right now, they were sitting side by side with her hand interlocked with Fabian's. He didn't know why this woman didn't want to leave him alone. He just wanted to eat his lunch in peace.
She didn't even care that three staff members had seen them hand in hand. He kept reminding her that this was inappropriate but she wouldn't bug.
She rested her head on his shoulders as she continued talking and suddenly yelled, bringing out her phone quickly. "I'm supposed to be watching the final episode of Single's Blaze, you made me forget"
"Single's Blaze?" Fabian asked and Averie couldn't miss his confusion which made her chuckled.
"Don't tell me that you haven't watched Single's Blaze? I even happen to be in a season"
Fabian adjusted his glasses again, even more confused. He didn't watch reality shows. He didn't even watch medical shows.
Fabian adjusted his glasses ready to scold her when she yelled again and gave him a smack. He held his arm surprised about it. "My favorite, Fabiola has just been picked by Braxton!"
"What?!" Fabian adjusted his glasses again, looking at her more confused than ever. "Fab… Braxton? What are you saying?"
She shook her head "They are in the show and…"
"No, how do those names…?" He quickly grabbed her phone from her and Averie was shocked to see his swiftness. Why did he suddenly become interested?
"Wow... I didn't know you will like it because of the names" Averie started saying with a chuckle but Fabian scrolled uneasily and click on the live button again.
There, was Fabian and Braxton walking down the alley and his eyes widened in surprise as he saw the both of them!
His sister was married to Dylan and Braxton was said to be dead! He was dead! They cried for him. He could vividly remember, like it was yesterday. What the hell was this? And Fabiola can walk?!
