The classes had begun early in the morning.
Knowing that I would have to provide a justifiable reason for our absence to Elsa Senor... I had come to the class a few minutes earlier than my time, and that was when I had noticed Noah and some other first years along with John, as they walked towards Elsa, who was just about to head for her lecture.
Curious about it, I made my way towards the group.
But just as I was about to approach them, the group bowed slightly towards Elsa before moving in my opposite direction.
"John."
I called out to him, making Noah and the others turn to look at me.
"Kael?"
Though confused, John whispered some words to the student closest to him before walking towards me.
"Can we talk later? I have to report for the student council meeting."
John hurriedly spoke as he approached closer to me.
"They selected you?"
The question involuntarily left my mouth, making John look at me with a hint of betrayal in his eyes.
"Dude—"
