If Racine had a nickle everytime he found himself stuck in a situation with a weird monster, he would have had two nickles.
Right now hiding inside the closet with a headphone covering his ears, Racine tried his best to ignore the sounds yet a part of him still can't help but feel uncomfortable.
The monster was messing with his senses to the point he can't help but consider every decision he could make bad.
He can't exactly stay inside this house like a sitting duck waiting for slaughter.
But at the same time he can't go out.
If that thing can affect him despite it's body being outside just how strange and powerful it would have been?
'Should I call Adriel?' Racine thought but at the same time he can't exactly keep on depending on his brother for every monster that he might come across now that everything went to shit.
Grinding his teeth Racine decided to finally get out of the closet he hid into. into the kitchen where he grab an empty plastic box, the one he washed after eating take out days prior.
Racine can't help but duck jump over the kitchen counter with the sound of wailing appearing next to his ear, Even though he saw nothing Racine continued to keep his guard up.
Slowly and as quietly as possible he grab some forks and placed them inside the storage box and right after putting all his strength into it Racine hurl it towards the living room the sound of it cluttering to the reverberated towards the whole house.
Racine heard the wailing stop and Racine didn't wait to find out, He took out a few jars, wrapped some spoons and fork with the kitchen rag, secure it tight in his hold and proceed to make a run for it upstairs once more.
Exactly while he run upstairs he saw something like akin to an umbilical cord pierced from the window and into the living room, it rummaged and wiggled around the sofa from where the plastic box landed.
Racine make his way upstairs towards his room again, he placed the utensils in his bed. He then grab a clothes pole hook tied a spoon into it's end and wrapped it tightly with a handkerchief as a rope.
Racine while busying his hands could hear the cluttering downstairs from the living room.
Racine after securing the spoon was properly tied into the pole proceed to tip toe towards Adriel's room the room above the living room.
Slowly Racine adjusted the pole to it's longest length and pushed it slowly outwards, Racine then saw at the reflected by the spoon was an bloody lump of flesh like before no it looks more of a fetus. Racine had heard of something like that in an old story the old people say [Tiyanak]
Racine slowly retracted the pole, then he went back to his room to think. He then decided to look for it on the web but there had been no internet connection even his phone was starting to reach it's limit too.
Suddenly an idea made it's way to Racine's mind, He took of his clothes then wore them again this time inside out he then went towards Adriel's room again and slowly like before used the clothing pole to peek out whatever it was outside.
Racine gulp when he saw the reflection.
That goddamn thing is not there.
Did that small trick work? Or did it move. Racine don't want to know but he need to.
He need to survive till Adriel comes back.
