Five minutes later, inside Amabel's room, she was in the middle of grinning like a little fool as she looked at her two good friends.
"Congratulations in person my dear Bel. How does it feel to be a mother?" Marjorie sincerely congratulated Amabel, grinning so widely at the thought of welcoming a new life.
Daphne stood there watching the scene with a serene expression, her eyes smiling as she watched the happy little girl.
Her complexion was still a bit pale, but regaining vitality which was already good.
"Hehe, this is very surprising but I guess that this feels actually so good," she cheerfully responded, her hand unconsciously moving to her flat belly, maternity love oozing from her, and added, "with all of you by my side, the journey will not be scary," sincerity in her words.
