Knowing that he was suppressing his anger and could burst at any time, Marjorie didn't continue to play with fire, and quickly narrated what was happening.
"I left earlier today, you know," she softly spoke, seemingly not in a hurry and that somehow started to make Roman feel much better.
"Um, weren't you supposed to be meeting with Amabel?"
"Yep, that was the plan and I surely went to her. Met up with her, then ….." she narrated everything slowly, her narration very vivid, and leaving a lot of room for imagination at the same time.
Roman, started by being serious, slowly calming down but when Marjorie reached the part of meeting Philippa, the gossip man hidden within him was unleashed. He became intrigued and engrossed in the story.
