"I am just amazed looking at you. You look so beautiful!" he couldn't help but earnestly praise, as he looked at her once more after giving her that smooch.
Amabel shyly smiled, her eyes squinting happily at being praised.
"Then …. Should I get sick often?" she asked, her tone laced with teasing and that question made Valentine who was all smiling a moment ago to frown while his gaze darkened.
His hold on her suddenly tightened and she softly cried, feeling pain from the hold.
Valentine upon realizing that he was hurting her, quickly loosened his hold and softly apologized, his gaze softening as well, "I am sorry about that, kitten. I just thought about what happened and couldn't control it."
Her expression softened as well. She raised her hand, the one with the IV drip, her intentions pretty clear.
Valentine slightly lowered his head so that she would reach his cheek easily.
