It was completely unexpected and the old lady looked dumbfoundedly at the butler.
"What did you just say?" her brows rose, confusion plastered on her face. "What is she doing here without informing others in advance?"
How could the butler answer that? He wasn't a worm in her brain.
Housekeeper Miller looked at her mistress and softly spoke, "Madam, I will have the kitchen prepare a new set of refreshments," before walking away, her words jolting the old lady to reality.
No matter what, showing an attitude now wouldn't do. She could only snort, feeling irritated at how absurd Philippa was getting each day.
"Just let her in when she arrives," she could only say, waving her hand with frustration and the butler quickly made his way out.
