After getting that confirmation, Amabel looked at Karl and said to her, "it was nice meeting you, Karl. When time permits in the future, lets all have a meal," before turning to Rita and bidding her farewell.
"Goodbye and goodnight!" Rita called out as she watched Amabel elegantly making her way towards the Maserati.
Amabel raised her hand and waved back without turning around.
Both Rita and Karl watched as Amabel approached the Maserati which automatically opened before she boarded. The door closed instantly and a few moments later, the beast left the parking lot smoothly under their watch.
"Phew!" it was only after the car was out of her sight that Rita heaved a sigh of relief, puzzling Karl who wasn't sure what was happening.
It was only when they were in the car, on their way home that Rita finally shared what happened earlier, making Karl laugh heartily finding Rita's reaction very much to his liking though a bit cowardly.
