Fifty years ago, a shower of meteors descended from the skies.

Ray lifted his gaze to stare at the skies and the thick darkness surrounding him.


The celestial paused and blinked a few times. 


The boy couldn't actually see him, as he wasn't currently present in the mindspace at the moment, but the celestial was facepalming himself angrily.


Heaving a heavy sigh, Ray shook his head and then turned toward the system once more.


 This time, he wasn't looking to converse with it, but to check his very last reward—the skill he had just acquired.
