The departure was almost instantaneous.
If I didn't know better I would say mother was trying to get Tilly back to Troita Moonhill before she came to her senses or something.
Which sounded more like kidnapping than marriage but what do I know.
The courtyard was chaos. Servants loading trunks. Guards securing the carriages.
