The West Domain was a world perpetually covered by clouds. It was as if rain was about to fall in the whole area. But rain never fell.
The whole place remained in darkness because of the year-round cloud cover. In the daytime, there was enough light to see, but the light was dim as if there was a solar eclipse.
Visibility was so poor in the West Domain that it was difficult to see people's faces in the streets. But this wasn't a problem for the cultivators in the Western Domain because it was the territory of the Nexus of Truth Sect.
As disciples of the Nexus of Truth Sect, either the poor light conditions didn't affect their eyesight as they were seers or they loved the darkness and didn't mind it because they were decievers. But now, a golden pillar of light had appeared in the area, intruding on the darkness.
