The death of Money Body had shown him that he can't take chances with anything if he doesn't want to die on this mission. So he activated the third Divine Metac without hesitation.
The third Divine Metac was the Death Crow Metac. When it was activated, the undead giant was still roaring. It didn't look like it had done anything different, but the invisible curse marks attached to the dog changed.
Because of the Death Crow Metac, the invisible curse mark transformed into black crows. These crows burrowed into the body of the dog and went straight for its soul. Their goal was to take over the body of the dog, thereby killing it.
