He was actually right in that Loki was unlikely to gain anything from killing him. After all, he wasn't the owner of his Cave Heaven and Loki was unlikely to gain access to the Cave Heaven with his death. But Loki was not in a rush to reap any short-term benefit. He is in this for the long run, so he refused to give up.
So he smiled and said, "How would I know that there is no benefit in killing you if I don't try?"
His reply made Shadow Body shake his head in confusion as he muttered, "Crazy. You're crazy."
Since he couldn't convince Loki not to kill him, he turned to Many Eyes, who was watching in the distance, and said, "You'd better run and never stop running because if I die, my alliance leader will never spare you."
But Many Eyes shook his head as he said fearlessly, "I know your alliance leader doesn't care if one of you dies. She will just replace you with someone else."
