So today I learned that the life of a Mortal God is also never peaceful…
I'm not the only one facing assassination attempt, but the other Mortal Gods were also facing the same thing.
I was more fortunate because my country is smaller in size and had a tighter grip on who enters and leaves the country, coupled with the fact that I had relocated to a private island as well which made it harder for foreign actors to try anything like this.
With this fact, I'm actually more surprised that there wasn't a Mortal God somewhere who decided to throw a tantrum or something and just went ahead to wipe out a country…
Then again… I guess the other Mortal Gods from the surrounding countries would be there to stop them if they did something like that.
The summit continued after lunch like nothing happened, even though I'm pretty sure everyone was aware of the attempted assassination.
