I took off my shoes as I stepped into Dan's home.
"Daddy! Welcome home! Eh? Uncle Qing?"
"Waahhh!! Uncle Qing!!!"
Two cute voices came from inside the house before the pitter patter of feet could be heard.
I looked up to see two young girls running towards me and Dan.
Both of them had black hair and looked no more than six years old with one of them sporting shoulder length hair and the other had a messy bob hair style that just barely reached her neck in length.
Dan immediately knelt down on a knee and stretched out his arms towards them, "Daddy's home!!"
He held that pose, expecting his two daughters to run towards him to hug him, only for both of them to run up to me to hug my legs instead.
"Uncle Qing, wel… Welcome!"
"Uncle Qing!! You never visit us for so long!!"
Well… Technically I've visited here not too long ago but they were away at a birthday party… Since there was no need for them to know, I didn't bring that up of course.
