Seeing that she was unable to find any loophole in Hazel's words, Kiera stomped her feet on the ground and walked away, sulking.
"What a child."
Hazel muttered as she shook her head, then knocked on Kaiser's door.
There was a moment of silence, then she heard the door being unlocked. Taking a breath, she pushed the door open and entered.
She found Kaiser lying on the bed, which was unusual.
"What's wrong with you? Illness?"
He turned to her, his expression relaxed. "Can't a man get rest? I'm simply resting."
"Is that so…" Hazel's eyes narrowed, as she couldn't shake of the feeling that something had happened.
In the end, she could only give up guessing and talk about the reason why she came.
"For the final exams, people are wondering if you'll be holding study sessions again. They're starting to see your worth, given that Ysabella, Kiera, and Charles's grades got high during the midterms."
"Oh, that? I'm not repeating it again." Kaiser calmly declined.
