Harold looked at the herd of sea monsters in the distance, so shocked that he couldn't recover his senses for a long time.
"Roar." A young adult sea monster rammed a half-grown sea monster pup to the ground, baring its teeth and glaring as it let out a roar, its saliva splattering all over the dazed sea monster pup.
The sea monster pup no longer possessed the adorable, fluffy appearance it had when Jasmine had seen it previously. A large patch of the fuzz on its back had peeled off - perhaps from scraping against the hard reef when it fell to the ground - and was now left dangling on its back.
Coupled with the fact that being rammed down by the adult sea monster wasn't a first-time occurrence, the sea monster pup's body, apart from a few patches of peeled fuzz, also bore several bleeding scratches, making it look incredibly miserable.
