Marcus watched Pebble advance toward the storm one careful step at a time, closing the distance to the towering tornadoes and monstrous waves. Even after reaching the fifty-meter mark, he kept moving without the slightest sign of danger.
Marcus's heart skipped a beat. 'It worked!'
Only a few minutes earlier, he'd watched Pebble get ripped into the storm and torn apart from two hundred meters away. Now, following Silas's marked route, he was perfectly safe. The path was real. There really was a way through the Storm Seal that had cut Twin Wing Island off from the outside world for centuries.
"Let's go!"
Unable to hide his excitement, Marcus gave the order, and the ship followed Pebble into the heart of the maelstrom, sailing straight into the supposedly impassable barrier.
