"Are you looking down on me?"
Simon looked at the Grey Pike captain as though she had asked a question whose answer should have been obvious.
The woman's silver spear remained lowered toward him. Aether flowed through her arms and entered the weapon, sharpening the pressure gathering around its tip.
"I will give you one piece of advice," he said indifferently. "If you value your life and those of your companions, leave. I will make sure my assault core does not chase you."
The seven Demon Slayers stared at him with eyes filled with confusion and anger.
The woman's fingers tightened around her silver spear.
"We were ordered to hold this road."
Simon raised a brow.
"So you've made your choice?"
The female captain scoffed with killing intent.
"We are not the ones who will die here, demon."
Simon gave a nonchalant shrug.
"Begin."
Gravity suddenly pressed against the road.
