They both knew that they could not hoe to escape from the old demon, so they were not surprised.
However, when First Blade raised one of his swords, Simon, Lucien, and the Winter Monkey all felt their instincts scream.
Without hesitation, Simon was the first to move.
He jumped down, and he manipulated the wind chaos runes to push him far away from First Blade and Lucien's ice track and pillars.
Lucien instantly shattered the ice sphere and jumped down while holding the Winter Monkey.
However, compared to Simon who was far away, the distance he covered with his jump was not enough.
He could still feel an immense threat to his life, and he knew that if he did nothing, he would die.
And that was when the Winter Monkey made a move.
It held Lucien's arm, then it kicked the air and flew like a bullet while changing their direction.
