I got up.
There was no particular reason to get up— I'd been lying down for maybe 20 mins, which was long enough to confirm that I was in fact tired, and also long enough to confirm that I was in fact hungry…
I sat up, looked at the ceiling for a moment, and decided the ceiling had nothing new to offer… I should've sat up 20 mins earlier.
I went out into the hallway.
Jisoo and Alex's door was the second on the left.
I pushed it open slowly, just enough to check. The room had a bunk bed— of course it had a bunk bed, ships had bunk beds… rooms has bunk beds… beside mine. Shit, this is unfair, anyways, Jisoo was on the top, curled on her side, warmly tucked in.
Holding something against her chest. I looked closer. Something small and soft. Round-ish. A plushy of some kind.
"That's cute," I said, very quietly, to nobody…. Though, I don't know where she found that round fish plush.
