Chapter 81 - Chapter 81: Nissa: It’s Time for Us to Have a Baby

Steve Rogers took some time to do an interview with Roxanne from the Daily Bugle about the Green Goblin's attack on the bridge and the monster battle in Block 42.

That night, Steve had left work on time before the fight ended. The final result was that the Hulk defeated the Abomination and then escaped from the military's pursuit, disappearing once again.

After this incident, it was clear that Bruce Banner would no longer attempt to cure himself—his condition was incurable.

When Roxanne learned she could interview Captain America again, she stayed up all night doing her makeup and picking her most flattering outfit and high heels—just to make a good impression on her idol and savior.

The interview lasted only half an hour. Steve remained modest and righteous throughout, but every word and gesture radiated quiet confidence and strength—enough to make people feel he truly deserved their admiration.

Roxanne's delicate face and bright smile softened as she looked at him. To her, Captain America wasn't just strong—he was cute.

"Captain," Roxanne began with a smile, "last night, a video surfaced showing you playing cards with your squad while on duty. Many people are wondering why. Could you explain that to us?"

"Tactical requirements," Steve answered calmly. "Sometimes the best way to lull the enemy into complacency is by appearing relaxed. It's not that I don't want to explain more, but once tactics are exposed, they lose effectiveness—and that can cost lives."

He sighed, looking serious. Of course, no one knew that he was actually just slacking off that night. After years of missions, even a super soldier sometimes wanted a break.

But one thing he wasn't slacking off on—was the mission to have children.

"Oh, I'm so sorry for misunderstanding, Captain," Roxanne said quickly. "Please forgive me. May I treat you to dinner tonight as an apology?"

Steve looked at her for a moment. He hadn't planned to agree—but finally nodded. "Alright, no problem."

[Roxanne, your true fan, 26 years old, President of the Daily Bugle, currently in her fertile period.]

The system prompt appeared at just the right moment—complete with calendar notes in red.

That evening, Bugle TV broadcast the interview. It was only ten minutes long, but packed with engaging details. Steve's calm explanations of tactical operations fascinated viewers—even those who didn't fully understand felt inspired by his strength and conviction.

Meanwhile, Johnny Blaze—newly awakened as the Ghost Rider—watched from afar. His heart ached as he saw his ex-girlfriend, Roxanne, happily leaning on Captain America's shoulder while riding off on his motorcycle.

Johnny glanced down at his flaming skeletal hands. He could never return to being an ordinary man. After signing a deal with the devil, his fate was sealed. Yet, seeing Roxanne happy brought him a strange sense of peace.

A few days later, Steve arrived at the Vampire King's Castle once again.

Nissa had officially taken her father's place as the new Vampire Queen, though the transition had not been smooth. With no will left behind by the old king, many vampire nobles refused to recognize her rule.

Sharon's solution was simple—convince the judges and auditors overseeing inheritance approvals. And by "convince," she meant threatening their families or giving them a little flight time hanging from a helicopter.

As long as the right "incentives" were offered, no one would dare to oppose them.

"Nissa, I have something special for you," Steve said, holding a small syringe. "Wei Lian, come too. I'll give you both an injection."

He had planned to strengthen them earlier but had been too busy with other matters.

Nissa tilted her head. "What is it, darling?"

"I made this improved serum especially for you," Steve said. "It'll make you stronger."

Before Wei Lian could react, Steve gently held her still and injected the serum.

Minutes later, her pale face regained color. She clenched her fists—feeling an overwhelming surge of strength.

[Wei Lian, the Perfect Vampire—immune to garlic, silver, and sunlight.]

"Try standing in the sunlight," Steve said.

Wei Lian hesitated, slipping on gloves first before reaching toward the light. To her astonishment, there was no pain—no burning. Slowly, she took off her gloves and stepped fully into the sun.

She froze, then smiled with joy as warm sunlight bathed her face.

"Darling, this is incredible!" she exclaimed.

For the first time in her immortal life, she could feel the sun.

With tears in her eyes, Wei Lian knelt on one knee before Steve, her expression full of gratitude and devotion. "Thank you, Master. You've given me a new life. I will serve you and the Princess for all eternity."

"Stand up," Steve said softly, tilting her chin. Though she wasn't the most beautiful woman, her fair skin, flawless figure, and the charm of a vampire made her irresistibly alluring.

"Nissa, it's your turn. Once you're immune to weaknesses, I'll be able to relax."

Steve administered the serum to Nissa as well. The results were even better than expected. If word of this serum got out, it would drive the vampire world into a frenzy.

For the first time in history, vampires could walk freely in the sunlight.

"Honey," Nissa said with a radiant smile, "it's time for us to have a baby."

Her voice was soft but determined. Now that she was no longer bound by weakness, she could give the man she loved a child—something she'd never dared to dream of before.

Nothing could make her happier.

Meanwhile, in Tony Stark's villa laboratory—

Tony was preparing to fly to Morocco for a competition, but the event was postponed due to an incident.

He glanced at the Department of Defense email about the Iron Man suit hearing and ignored it. Instead, his eyes landed on the news playing on the monitor—Captain America, once again, stealing the spotlight.

"You didn't even call me for something that fun, old popsicle!" Tony muttered.

"Sir," J.A.R.V.I.S. reminded, "you should drink eight glasses of vegetable juice today to counteract the palladium poisoning."

Tony frowned at the reminder, hesitated, and then picked up his phone to make a call.

Heavy breathing answered from the other end.

"Explain," Steve said.

"Huh? What are you doing?" Tony asked.

"Running."

"Running with a woman?"

Tony rolled his eyes. Of course. Steve Rogers wasn't fooling around with humans—he was fooling around with vampires.

"If you're just calling to talk nonsense, I'm hanging up."

"Hey, wait—what about the news about my parents' murder?"

"I'll talk to you later. I need to speed up."

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Tony stared at the dead call tone and shook his head.

"Is this really Captain America?" he muttered. "You're picking up bad habits way too fast."
