That same night at midnight, she took me to a secret room in the marquis' house.
There were candles around with a large circle in the middle and she took me there but I had already made up my mind not to care.
My brother's safety comes first before anything.
I went on my knees but in pain due to my ankle which had been twisted and she went on her knees as well with that calm smile.
"What do you want, Chadwick?" She asked and I frowned because I already told her.
"For my brother to be healed," I told her.
"Your brother cannot be healed. His soul needs to be transferred to an able body. Do you consent to that?" She asked.
"What kind of body?" I curiously asked.
"Once in a while, a special child is born in the witches' land and this child is like a god. Their growth is stunted for a limited time but after a while, they grow." She explained.
"Why would you want to give me someone else's body?" I inquired.
