My eyes popped open and I looked to my side at Lauren who was peacefully sleeping.


I know I should wake him but I didn't want to because of how peaceful he was.


But instead of waking him up, I got up and went to get myself ready for the journey.


Ten minutes was enough for me to rinse my mouth and change into something simple and comfortable.


Once I was done and checked the clock, it was already twelve and I smiled and went to wake Lauren up.


"Love? It is time," I sweetly announced as I shook him a little but he didn't respond and I frowned as I kept shaking him.


"Lauren," I called and tilted his shoulder slightly so he could turn but what I saw had me scream in horror.


He looked pale and lifeless and had white substance oozing out of his mouth.
