Their tiny bodies were sliced cleanly apart in an instant, without even the chance to resist.
The force of the attack shattered them completely, scattering their forms across the ground.
Silence followed.
"…I regret living a criminal life," one rat muttered weakly as consciousness faded.
"…Me too, boss," another replied.
"…Me too."
"…See you later, everyone."
Their voices grew softer as life left their bodies. However, none of them truly panicked.
Because deep down, they all knew the truth. They would come back again.
