Hearing this, Gohan immediately looked toward Videl, who was cultivating in the distance.
Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, half a year had passed.
Everything had been peaceful during these six months. After half a year of cultivation, Lagss finally began training under one hundred times gravity.
Videl had also made significant progress. However, because she still had to attend school, her improvement remained limited.
Mount Paozu, Gravity Chamber
"Master, I've already overcome one hundred times gravity. You should be able to teach me the Cloning Technique now, right?"
Inside the Gravity Chamber, Lagss tugged at Gohan's hand with both of hers.
"I can, but you must promise me that once you learn it, you won't teach it to anyone."
"Not even Videl?"
Gohan nodded.
"Alright, Master, I promise you!"
Hearing this, Gohan immediately began teaching Lagss the Cloning Technique.
"I have to pull out a hair?"
Lagss looked at her waist-length, beautiful hair and hesitated.
"Yes. If you're unwilling, you don't have to learn it."
"No! I want to learn! It's just one hair, isn't it? I have over three thousand!"
"How do you know you have over three thousand?"
"Don't the books say 'three thousand strands of worry'?"
"Those books also say that within books there are houses of gold and beauties like jade. Do you believe that too?"
"There aren't?"
"Of course not!"
Gohan was speechless.
"Fine, if there aren't, there aren't. Master, I've already pulled out a hair. Teach me how to turn it into my clone!"
"Alright."
The morning passed quickly. Gohan taught Lagss all the essentials of the Cloning Technique. The rest depended on her own comprehension.
"It's getting late. I should head home for lunch."
"Okay, Master. If I master the Cloning Technique, can you teach me Instant Transmission?"
"..."
"We'll talk about that after you've learned the Cloning Technique."
"Okay, Master! I'll definitely work hard!"
Seeing this, Gohan used Instant Transmission and returned home.
Dr. Gero's Other Laboratory
That afternoon, after waking from a nap, Gohan opened his computer to check on the three androids in Dr. Gero's secondary laboratory.
Although Dr. Gero had been eliminated, the supercomputer in the hidden lab had continued operating.
By now, Android 13, Android 14, and Android 15 were nearly complete.
However, Gohan had already altered their core programming, ensuring they would obey his commands and protect Earth instead of targeting Goku.
Dr. Gero would never have imagined that the androids he designed to kill Goku would become defenders of Earth.
On the screen, their images appeared similar to those in the movies.
Android 13 was a burly man with white hair. Android 14 was tall, pale-skinned, and wore a long braid. Android 15 was short with purple skin.
"Are they almost finished?"
As soon as he spoke, the word "Completed" appeared on the screen.
"It's done."
Gohan took out the Heaven-Reaching Mirror and arrived at the laboratory.
Androids 13, 14, and 15 lay quietly inside their stasis pods.
After glancing at them, Gohan pressed the activation switches.
Soon, the three opened their eyes and stepped out.
"Gohan."
They greeted him in unison.
Gohan nodded.
"Gohan, why did you come here?" Android 13 asked.
"Nothing special. I came to activate you."
"I see."
"Earth is peaceful right now. The three of you can go and do some good deeds."
"Understood."
Android 13 nodded obediently.
Looking at him, Gohan felt slightly unaccustomed. Android 13 had the face of a villain, yet now he stood calmly under his command.
"He's a good person now, not a villain."
With that thought, Gohan left the lab.
The three androids soon departed as well.
Two Days Later
After two full days of cultivation, Lagss still couldn't turn her hair into a clone.
Although the Cloning Technique wasn't particularly powerful, it was far from easy to learn.
Gohan had mastered it instantly only because of the System.
West City, Goku's House
Goku was training in the courtyard when he suddenly noticed large amounts of black aura appearing in the azure sky.
"What is this?"
Just then, King Kai's voice echoed in his mind.
"Goku, something terrible has happened! A massive amount of deathly extinction aura has been released on Earth!"
"Deathly extinction aura?"
"Yes. This aura is extremely harmful to both humans and plants. Earth can only hold out for about one hundred days. If you don't resolve it within that time, all living beings on Earth will die!"
"King Kai, do you know where it's coming from?"
"Not yet. I'll investigate."
"I'm counting on you!"
King Kai acknowledged and cut off the connection.
"Deathly extinction aura..."
Goku immediately ran inside to find Gohan.
Chi-Chi was pregnant with their second child, so he couldn't allow this aura to endanger the baby.
After explaining everything, Goku looked at Gohan seriously. "Do you have a way to resolve it quickly?"
"I'll try."
Gohan stepped outside and summoned the Heaven-Reaching Mirror.
Through it, he quickly arrived at the source of one of the devices emitting the deathly extinction aura.
Two figures suddenly appeared in front of him.
They were Frieza and King Cold.
However, these were not their physical bodies, only lingering wisps of their souls.
"Move."
Gohan's voice turned cold as his body erupted with a powerful aura. The pressure instantly dispersed the two ghostly figures.
Boom!
Gohan gathered an Energy Wave in his right hand and destroyed the device.
Without hesitation, he used the Heaven-Reaching Mirror to travel to the next location and destroyed the remaining devices one by one.
As the final device exploded, the deathly extinction aura in the sky weakened significantly.
However, some remnants still lingered in the air.
