Scarlett Aurora Whitmore came to New York City with big dreams of becoming an artist. Armed with the address of an agency given to her by her stepsister, she left her hometown without knowing that the address was fake and the agency was known as a place full of traps. Rachel moved quickly between updates, her voice steady despite the speed. "Major outlets are picking it up. Not just entertainment media. Business, legal, even international press."


Julian remained still, his presence grounded and controlled. "That was inevitable."


Scarlett did not move. "And necessary."


Rachel nodded. "The connection between Virelle Media and Orion Post is being analyzed in real time. People are asking how deep it goes."


Julian's gaze flickered briefly toward Scarlett. "That is where the cost begins."
