Chapter 135 - Chapter 134: Breaking the Ceiling, Flattening the World

KA-BOOM.

The massive shockwave finally cleared.

Thick dust washed over the valley, raining down on the dirt road.

The twenty thousand men of the Gollini family didn't stop. They were pumped full of the five hundred percent God Serum.

Their muscles bulged, their eyes were bloodshot, and they were hyped out of their minds.

Near the front line, a squad of five grunts charged forward.

"I can feel it!" Enzo yelled, his hands sparking with massive, boosted flames. "I feel like I could punch a mountain in half!"

"Forget the mountain," Rocco laughed, cocking his heavy assault rifle. "Look at these two idiots just standing there. They're dead meat."

"Valdo said whoever brings their heads gets a promotion," Mateo grinned, showing his teeth. "That bounty is mine."

"Yeah right," Luca fired back. "My Quirk is easily top thirty pro hero level right now! I'm taking them down."

"Just shoot them already!" Gianni screamed.

"DIIIIEEE!"

The grunts unleashed everything. They fired heavy armor-piercing rounds.

Enzo unleashed a massive, roaring wave of fire. Luca spit a huge blast of boiling acid.

It meant absolutely nothing.

The two clones didn't even take a fighting stance.

The Speed clone just walked forward.

FWOOSH.

It moved so fast it left physical afterimages in the dust. To the grunts, it looked like a literal ghost.

BAM.

CRACK.

The Speed clone casually swung its arm. Rocco and Mateo didn't even have time to blink.

"What?!!"

"AAGHH!"

The casual backhand struck them in the chest, completely shattering their ribs.

They were instantly launched fifty feet into the air like broken dolls.

"TAKE THIS!"

Enzo kept blasting his boosted fire, screaming at the top of his lungs.

The Strength clone just walked straight through the flames.

RATATATATATAT.

CLINK. CLINK. CLINK.

Gianni's armor-piercing bullets hit the Strength clone right in the eyeballs and flattened like cheap tin.

The fifty passive Quirks stacked inside the clone's body made it completely untouchable.

The Strength clone raised one of its six massive arms and casually slapped the dirt.

KA-BOOM.

A localized earthquake ripped through the road.

The sheer kinetic force flipped thirty heavy armored trucks into the air like they were made of plastic.

Luca and Gianni were instantly crushed under the tumbling vehicles.

Enzo stopped shooting his fire. He stood there, completely frozen.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE THOSE MONSTERS?!"

He looked at his shaking hands, then looked up at the six-armed monster standing in front of him.

The top-tier hero delusion shattered in an instant.

THUD.

Pure human terror hijacked Enzo's brain. He dropped his gun.

"DAMN! I DON'T WANT TO DIE. GET OUT OF THE WAY."

He turned around and started sprinting the other way, screaming in absolute horror.

Thousands of other grunts did the exact same thing.

The army completely broke.

They threw their weapons in the dirt and ran for their lives.

From the front gates of the estate, Valdo Gollini watched his massive army run away like cowards.

HUUF-PUFF.

He took a slow drag from his cigar and spat on the ground.

"Clean this up," Valdo ordered.

The main family members stepped forward.

KRMMMM.

Their bodies hummed with the raw power of the permanent one thousand percent Quirk awakening.

"Looks like the grunts are completely useless," Simon joked, rolling his shoulders. "Time to feed my dogs."

"Just don't get your ugly mutts in my portals, Simon," Kamile warned him, his hands glowing with dark energy.

"I'll lock them down," Bruno grunted, his spiked armor shifting heavily. "Ugo, get the heavy rocks."

They moved with flawless teamwork.

They had been running Italy for years, and they knew exactly how to fight together.

Ugo raised his hands. His awakened Telekinesis dug straight into the bedrock of the valley.

RUMBLE.

CRACK. CRACK.

Three massive, house-sized boulders ripped out of the ground and floated high into the air.

Kamile sliced the air open. His Spatial Excursion Quirk created massive, jagged black portals right under the flying boulders, linking the exits directly above the clones' blind spots. Not only he can levitate he can also create portals.

VWOOMP.

Simon slammed his palms into the dirt.

ROAR. RAAAGH. ROAR.

Three massive, three-story-tall dogs made of dark shadows and hard bone erupted from the ground.

His Monster Summon Quirk was pushed to the absolute limit.

BAAM. BAAM. BAAM.

The giant beasts lunged forward, snapping their massive jaws directly around the Strength clone's extra arms, physically pinning it to the ground.

THUD.

Bruno stepped forward and punched the empty air.

BZZZZT.

His Delay Spots flared to life. He created a massive, absolute bubble lock on the space and time around the clones, freezing the air so they couldn't dodge.

Right behind him, Deborah closed her eyes. Her Daydream Quirk flooded the battlefield, aggressively warping the clones' senses and blinding them with chaotic illusions.

The execution combo hit perfectly.

The boulders crashed down through the portals. The shadow beasts clamped their jaws shut.

SLASH.

DROP.

Blood actually hit the dirt.

The Capos' one thousand percent power was real.

The giant shadow dogs actually pierced the Strength clone's hardened skin, causing a drop of blood from the bite marks.

The falling boulders clipped the Speed clone, tearing its suit and slicing its shoulder open.

"Are you kidding me? All that combination was for nothing?" Bruno was horrified. After all they reall went all out.

"What are we going to do now?" Kamille replied as he floated with a stone slab.

"It's still the same. Attack it all together. I will create distractions later. And Simon stop using large dogs and create something prehistoric" Deborah commanded everyone as she looked at the enemies infront.

Then all of them finally heard the voice of the six-armed intruder.

"All that for a drop of blood?" Deep underground in Japan, All For One smiled and said.

Through the Bio-Transmitter Quirk, he felt the sharp sting of pain. He wasn't worried. He was genuinely thrilled.

The serum they combined with trigger drug and overmodification quirk as that guy mentioned actually worked.

These men were top-tier livestock, and he couldn't wait to harvest them later. And that God Serum they developed. It could maybe improved his AFO quirk and maybe the cloned New Order, Decay and Overhaul quirks.

All For One really didn't expect a surprise when decided to attack Europe.

But playing around with passive Quirks wasn't going to work anymore.

HUUUF.

All For One took a breath in the lab.

Through the featureless masks of the clones in Italy, cold, overlapping voices suddenly called out.

"Air Cannon. Kinetic Shockwave. Spring-loaded Strike."

The Strength clone's main arm instantly glowed red-hot.

"Lightning Dash. Vacuum Blade."

The Speed clone's body surged with violent, blue electricity.

All For One finally unleashed his active Quirks.

The Strength clone completely ignored the giant dogs chewing on its arms.

It pulled its glowing red fist back and punched the air.

The Speed clone kicked forward at the exact same time.

KA-BOOOM.

The clash was ten times stronger than a United States of Smash.

The sheer kinetic force instantly vaporized the shadow dogs into dust.

"WHAT? IMPOSSIBLE!"

Bruno's frozen Delay Spots shattered like glass. The massive boulders were obliterated into fine powder.

A skyscraper-sized wave of pure, devastating air pressure blasted forward, heading straight toward Valdo and the front gates of the estate.

*-*-*-*

It was going to wipe out everything.

Thud.

Valdo Gollini dropped his cigar.

WHOOSH.

He didn't hesitate. He stepped right in front of his Capos.

The massive kinetic blast was an inch away from his face.

Valdo activated his one thousand percent awakened Alchemy.

The serum mixed with the Trigger drug pushed his Quirk past any normal limit.

His body physically shifted. He didn't copy All Might like in the movie plot. He copied his true idol.

KRMM.

His hair turned pitch black.

Golden glasses formed on his face.

His expensive clothes transmuted into a sharp, pure Vantablack suit. He looked exactly like Hero X. But more sinister.

Valdo raised his hand. He positioned his thumb and middle finger.

SNAP.

The sound echoed across the valley.

Valdo's Quirk forcefully grabbed the massive 3-Dimensional kinetic energy. He violently compressed the atoms.

CRACKLE. SWIISH.

In a fraction of a second, the invisible wall of death was completely flattened.

It instantly turned into a harmless, 2-Dimensional drawing of a shockwave.

It floated in the air like a piece of paper, and then the wind just blew it away.

"Yes!" Bruno yelled, clashing his spiked fists together. "They can't touch the Boss!"

"Did you idiots really think you could breach our home?" Deborah laughed loudly. "Valdo is a god!"

Back in Japan, All For One physically flinched in his lab when heard the iconic snap.

"What?!" His instincts screamed.

Through the clones' featureless masks, All For One frantically looked left and right. His nonexistent heart pounded.

He genuinely thought the real Hero X just crashed the battlefield.

But as the dust settled, he just saw Valdo standing there, cosplaying in a black suit.

"...."

"..."

All For One was silent for a few moments and burst into booming laughter in his dark lab.

"Hehehe. HAHAHA!" He found it absolutely hilarious.

This European mafia boss was trying to mimic the only person in the world who actually defeated him.

"This bootlegged Hero X really makes my day happy. Then if that's the case.."

All For One decided to play along. He forced the Speed clone to step back and stand completely still. He only kept the Strength clone active.

He spoke through the Strength clone's mask. He kept his identity hidden, acting like a loyal grunt.

"Your power is fascinating. You even tried to copy and mimic Hero X. You loved him so much?" All For One said politely. "The League of Villains still extends an invitation. Swear loyalty to our grand commander right now, and I will let your family walk out intact."

PTUIII.

Valdo spat his saliva into the dirt. He glared at the six-armed monster.

"I am the Godfather of Europe," Valdo growled. "Hero X is the absolute pinnacle of power. I don't bow to stray dogs like you. I'm going to tear you apart."

All For One sighed through the mask. "A shame. But true, Hero X is really a perfect individual."

WHOOSH.

Valdo launched himself forward. He slammed his hands onto the dirt.

SHINK. SHINK. SHINK.

Using pure Alchemy, he transmuted the ground under the Strength clone into a massive, jagged forest of steel spikes.

It looked exactly like something out of a comic book.

The Strength clone didn't even try to dodge. It just swung its heavy fists.

CRASH.

The clone shattered the steel spikes into pieces.

Valdo didn't stop. He touched the air itself, altering the oxygen and friction.

He threw his arm forward, copying Endeavor's signature move.

FWOOSH. BAAANG.

A massive, roaring blast of hellfire slammed into the clone.

SWISSH.

The clone walked right through the flames. It threw a heavy, crushing right hook straight at Valdo's chest.

SNAP.

Valdo snapped his fingers again. The clone's massive fist was instantly flattened into a 2D drawing right before it hit his ribs.

But the sheer wind pressure from the missed punch grazed Valdo's shoulder.

RIP.

Valdo's suit tore.

Blood leaked down his arm. He skidded backward across the dirt, breathing hard.

HUFF-PUFF.

'Damn it,' Valdo thought, wiping his mouth. 'His physical strength is too high. If I take even one direct hit from that thing, my body will explode.'

He needed a shield.

Valdo slammed his hands onto the ruined iron gates and the rocky rubble around him.

CLANK. KRMMMM.

The metal and stone melted and wrapped around Valdo's body.

In seconds, he transmuted a massive, fifteen-foot-tall mechanical golem suit.

He sat safely perfectly in the center of the armored chest.

"Tear him up, Boss!" Kamile cheered from the back. "Show them what the family can do!"

Inside the golem, Valdo's Alchemy was flawless.

He didn't suffer any fatigue or mental strain thanks to the perfected God Serum.

Valdo made the golem slam its hands on the ground.

RUMBLE.

The dirt shifted.

Ten smaller, fully functional rock robots rose up from the earth and charged at the Strength clone.

While the clone was busy smashing the rock robots, Valdo pointed the golem's massive metal finger at a leftover boulder.

SKRRT.

He transmuted the minerals inside the rock, turning it into a superheated focal lens.

ZAAAAAP.

A blinding laser beam fired out of the boulder, hitting the clone directly in the chest and pushing it back.

The Strength clone raised its arm and fired a massive Air Cannon back at the golem.

CRACKLE. BAAANG.

The giant golem raised its heavy metal hand.

SNAP.

The golem snapped its giant metal fingers. The Air Cannon was instantly flattened into a 2D drawing.

"Look at that!" Simon yelled, his eyes wide with pride. "He is matching that enemy blow for blow!"

Valdo grinned inside the armor. But he wanted to end this permanently. The enemy was just too durable.

There was still another enemy just standing there watching. Destroying the active one first was the best plan before finishing off the other.

Valdo slammed both of the golem's hands deep into the earth. He activated his ultimate move.

KRMMMM.

The entire valley started shaking.

Valdo began transmuting the entire estate, the remaining walls, and the deep bedrock into a colossal, mountain-sized mecha.

He was going to absorb the whole area.

Deep in Kamino, All For One watched the massive energy building up.

He didn't panic. He just felt bored. He ran the calculations in his head.

Even if he let Valdo finish building this giant mountain robot, the clones could easily destroy it. But it would take about two or three minutes of actual effort.

'Why in the world would I wait for him to transform?' All For One thought.

He dropped the one-on-one game.

VMMMM.

He moved the Speed clone.

Valdo didn't even see it happen.

The mountain-sized mecha hadn't even formed its first leg yet.

SWIIISH.

The Speed clone bypassed Valdo's reaction time completely. It appeared right beside the base golem and kicked the metal knee joint with a million pounds of kinetic force.

CRUNCH.

BAAAM.

The golem's leg shattered. The suit fell forward.

"WHAT? TOO FAST"

Before Valdo could even raise the golem's hand to snap his fingers, the Strength clone was already there.

CRACK.

Two massive fists punched straight through the thick metal armor, slamming directly into Valdo's real chest inside.

"GAAHK!"

Valdo's ribs completely shattered. He coughed up a massive amount of blood.

The ultimate transmutation instantly canceled, the shaking ground settling back to normal.

The fight was over in exactly five seconds.

Valdo tumbled out of the broken golem armor and hit the dirt.

He was completely broken. He couldn't move his arms or legs. He stared up at the two featureless masks in absolute horror.

"Damn. What are you.. No, who are you?"

All For One looked down at him. He didn't finish the job.

Leaving them alive was much more efficient. The two clones just turned around and started walking away.

Near the gates, the cheering completely died.

Dead silence fell over the Capos.

Deborah fell to her knees. Her hands were shaking violently. "No... Boss..."

Bruno took a step back, his spiked armor rattling. "He got taken down. In seconds. They didn't even let him finish."

Kamile looked at the two clones walking away. His face was completely pale. The horrifying reality finally kicked in.

"They called themselves subordinates," Kamile whispered, his voice cracking. "Those two monsters... they are just like us. If the League of Villains can just casually send individuals this strong... we never stood a chance."

"....."

"....."

Total despair washed over the remaining family.

They realized they had completely and utterly lost the war from the very beginning. They underestimate the League of Villains.

Location: Japan – Musutafu (U.A. High School)

Date: Monday | 09:00 AM

Three days later.

Kaito sat in a comfortable chair inside a highly secure meeting room deep within U.A. High School.

He was finally rested. He got a full weekend of sleep, handed out all his souvenirs, and was currently drinking a cup of actual good coffee.

Sitting across the long table from him were four people.

Principal Nezu sat in a tall chair, happily sipping a cup of green tea. Gran Torino sat next to him, grumbling as he chewed on a hard candy. Sir Nighteye sat completely straight, reviewing a paper file.

And right next to Nighteye sat All Might.

He was wearing a sharp yellow suit that barely contained his massive, peak-condition muscles.

SIP.

"It really is good to see you back on campus, Kaito," Nezu smiled, setting his teacup down. "It reminds me of your middle school days. I offered you a full ride to U.A. just to keep you safe from the Hero Public Safety Commission and their annoying investigations."

Kaito laughed a little, leaning back in his chair.

"Hehe. I appreciate the offer, Principal," Kaito joked. "But I really didn't want to do the hero works. Staying independent and a civilian was a lot less stressful."

Gran Torino snorted. "Smart kid. The HPSC is just a bunch of politicians in suits anyway."

"HAHAHAHA!"

All Might let out a booming, hearty laugh. He looked at Kaito with a lot of familiarity and pride.

"You made the right call, young Arisaka," All Might smiled broadly. "Two years ago, you handed us those financial trails. You're a civilian, but your brain allowed the Pro Heroes to raid the League of Villains' underground warehouses across the entire world. You did more damage to them than half the top ten heroes combined."

"I just followed the money trail underground," Kaito said modestly.

"Don't be humble," All Might insisted. "Look at the Hero Billboard Chart. Over the last two and a half years, your contracts have completely changed the landscape. You pushed Best Jeanist straight to the number two spot. Your work speaks for itself."

Nighteye cleared his throat and adjusted his glasses.

"Speaking of your work," Nighteye said smoothly. "We called you here to personally congratulate you on the Pacific Shield. The World Heroes Association endorsement is a massive win for Japan."

"Ah, actually," Nezu interrupted happily, raising a paw. "I forced this meeting."

All Might rubbed the back of his neck, looking a bit embarrassed.

"Toshinori is too stubborn for his own good," Nezu explained to Kaito. "After seeing how you fixed Star and Stripe's limits in America, I spent the last few months telling him. I told him to swallow his pride and finally ask the Golden Manager for a contract."

"Thanks," Kaito nodded, looking at the giant hero. "So, let's talk about the real reason I'm here."

"....."

The casual, relaxed atmosphere in the room instantly vanished.

The tone turned incredibly serious.

All Might sat forward. He rested his massive hands on the table.

He didn't look like a PR mascot right now. He looked like a tired soldier.

"Nighteye told me what you did for the others," All Might started, his booming voice dropping low. "But my Quirk... it is not like the others. It carries a very long, very bloody history."

Kaito stayed quiet, letting him speak.

"My power is called One For All," All Might said, looking down at his hands. "It isn't a natural ability. It is a torch. It's a stockpile of power passed down from generation to generation."

Gran Torino stopped chewing his candy. He leaned forward, his voice grim.

"And it's hunted," Gran Torino added. "The bastard chasing us when Toshinori was still young, everyone knows him. He is the leader of League of Villains, All For One. He has the power to steal Quirks and give them away. He's been hiding in the shadows for a century, slaughtering everyone who held One For All before Toshinori."

All Might's voice cracked just a little bit. He tightly clenched his fists on the table.

"My master," All Might said quietly. "Her name was Nana Shimura. She was a beautiful, strong hero. And she died in the dirt to protect me from him."

"....."

"....."

The room went completely silent.

Gran Torino pulled his yellow hat down, hiding his eyes.

Nezu gripped his teacup tightly.

Nighteye looked down at the table, his jaw clenched. They were all sharing the same trauma.

"She gave me this power," All Might whispered, looking back up at Kaito. His blue eyes were intense. "So I could finally end the cycle. I am at the absolute peak of my physical strength. I can change the weather with a single punch. But... I don't think it's enough. If All For One gets stronger, I need to be absolutely sure. I need to break my ceiling."

Kaito listened deeply.

He looked at the giant man sitting across from him and felt genuine human empathy for the agonizing weight All Might carried alone for decades. Its different watching it in his past life and face to face conversation.

Kaito turned his head slightly and looked at Nighteye.

"Your Foresight Quirk," Kaito said, his voice calm but sharp. "It has a twenty-four-hour cooldown and requires specific viewing conditions to activate. Am I right?"

Nighteye looked surprised for a second, but then he nodded. "Yes. How did you—"

"It's a logical deduction," Kaito interrupted smoothly. "I assume you have already looked into his future regarding a fight with All For One. But because of the generational stockpile is likely affecting his body. The variables are just too chaotic to guarantee a win. You need an outside factor to change the board."

Nighteye let out a heavy sigh, his face darkening at the memory of what he saw. He nodded grimly. "Exactly."

Kaito looked back at All Might.

He let out a slow breath and adjusted his glasses.

"Unpacking a multi-generational stockpile is going to be incredibly complex," Kaito told him honestly. "But I will help you. I accept the contract."

All Might's shoulders dropped.

A massive, visible wave of relief washed over his face. He smiled so brightly the room felt lighter.

"Thank you," All Might breathed out. "Thank you, Kaito-shonen."

Nezu smiled and clapped his paws together. Nighteye let out a long breath he had been holding.

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP.

Suddenly, a blaring, frantic alarm echoed through the meeting room.

Nezu frowned. He tapped a button on the table.

CLICK.

A large flat-screen monitor on the wall snapped on. It bypassed the school feeds and tuned directly to an emergency international breaking news broadcast.

*-*-*-*

The news anchor on the screen looked completely pale. He was gripping his desk.

["We interrupt our standard broadcast for a breaking global emergency," the anchor said, his voice shaking. "Footage has just leaked from Europe. Three days ago, a massive incident occurred in the Valley in Italy."]

The screen cut to aerial drone footage.

The room went dead silent.

The massive, beautiful valley was gone. It was replaced by a terrifying, blackened crater that stretched for miles.

The main estate of the Gollini mafia family was reduced to a pile of scattered gravel.

["The Gollini mafia used their political control over the local Italian government to enforce a strict media blackout for the last seventy-two hours," the reporter explained quickly. "But the cover-up completely collapsed this morning. The sheer scale of the collateral damage was impossible to hide from international journalists."]

The drone footage zoomed in on the nearby towns.

Massive houses were crushed by flying boulders. The shockwaves had shattered every window for miles.

["Over fifteen thousand members of the mafia are currently hospitalized or thousands were confirmed dead," the reporter continued, swallowing hard. "Furthermore, the devastation affected over twenty civilian families in the surrounding area. The World Heroes Association is treating this as an unprecedented terrorist escalation."]

Gran Torino dropped his hard candy. "Good lord..."

Nighteye stood up from his chair, staring at the crater on the screen. "That is a private underground army. They were wiped out in an afternoon. It should be All For One right and his League of Villains?"

"Why are they in Europe then?" Gran Torino questioned.

All Might didn't say anything.

He slowly stood up. His massive fists were clenched so tight his knuckles turned completely white.

He stared at the screen, his blue eyes burning with a terrifying anger.

He recognized that level of targeted, overwhelming destruction.

As Mirai said, only All For One can do this terrain changing devastation.

He was making his move. He was reaching out to Europe.

"....."

The meeting room was suffocatingly quiet. Nobody moved.
