The door opened with a creaking sound that echoed all over the place, bouncing against the wall.
Creaakkk
Kade entered the room, feeling his heart beat thudding with nervousness.
Ba-dump!
His eyes settled over to the sofa perched before the see-through glass. The bloody game ongoing in the Colosseum blurred as Kade's eyes focused on the man sitting on the sofa.
His legs were crossed as wine swirled in the glass he held.
The man wasn't even looking at Kade. From the view Kade could see, he could only glimpse the bored face of the man, who was looking at the chaos in front of him with eyes laden with languor.
'Should I say something?'
Kade thought.
Should he start the conversation?
However, before Kade could do so, out of habit and affected by nervousness, he probed the man.
Kade didn't feel anything from Elias, almost nothing. The person, the young man sitting there, looked and seemed ordinary.
