Kara stood near a window. Her Kitsune ears were lowered, and her white tail no longer moved. She clenched her fists so tightly that her claws dug into the palms of her hands. Blood beaded gently, staining the stone floor, but she did not seem to feel the physical pain. A few weeks since Kaiser's disappearance but nothing had changed.
" This is not possible, " murmured Kara in a voice that trembled violently. " He cannot be dead… not him… "
' Why have I always been so stubborn with him ?' she thought, while her red eyes clouded with tears she refused to let fall.
'I wanted to surpass him… I wanted to prove my worth to him… but in reality, I was only seeking his gaze on me. If he is really gone… I am nothing more than a wild one without purpose… a simple pet who has lost her master…'
