Chapter 213 - Saikai Academy

Saikai Private Academy gate.

Asagi had rather heavy dark circles under her eyes at the moment. She had suffered from insomnia after reading Abel's information last night.

Just then, a familiar voice came from behind her.

"Asagi-chan."

Asagi turned around and saw it was an acquaintance. It was Akatsuki Nagisa, Akatsuki Kojou's sister from the original story. Her blood was the key to unlocking Avrora's twelfth familiar.

Asagi smiled and said, "Good morning, Nagisa."

Nagisa looked at the still-tired Asagi and asked with concern, "Asagi-chan, did you not rest well last night?"

Asagi didn't hide it. "No, I didn't sleep well last night."

Nagisa nodded. "You should go to bed early and not stay up late."

"I know." Asagi smiled.

It felt good to be cared for.

The two walked and chatted.

At this moment, the commotion at the school gate caught their attention.

"Ah! That boy is so handsome."

"Second that, looking at handsome guys makes me happy."

"I wonder if he has a girlfriend."

"A cute blonde beauty."

"No, I think Yukina is cuter."

"You heretic!"

"They're all so cute."

At the school gate, Abel, Yukina ans Avrora had appeared, their arrival causing a stir in the crowd.

Now, the girls were focused on Abel, while the boys were focused on Avrora and Yukina.

Nagisa and Asagi were slightly stunned when they saw Abel.

Nagisa felt as if she was seeing her own brother but she knew it wasn't her brother. After all, her brother and father were both deceased.

Asagi looked at Abel, unsure what to say. A Campione was now at her school, something big was probably going to happen.

Or had what she did last night been discovered?

"What are you all blocking here for? Class is about to start. Hurry back to your classrooms."

At this moment, Natsuki, holding a black umbrella, walked over. She stood with her hands on her hips and spoke in a stern tone.

However, it was clearly useless. There was no deterrent, the students weren't afraid at all. Instead, the moment they saw Natsuki, they all smiled and greeted her.

"Natsuki-chan is here."

"It's Natsuki-chan."

"Bye, Natsuki-chan, we're going back to class."

"Natsuki-chan, bye."

After saying that, everyone moved towards their classrooms.

Listening to the students' nickname for her, Natsuki gripped the fan in her hand even tighter.

When did this nickname even spread?

As the crowd dispersed, only Abel, Avrora, Yukina, and Natsuki remained on the campus.

Asagi and Nagisa had also returned to their classrooms with the crowd.

Yukina stepped forward and said, "Natsuki-sensei."

"Mm, you go back to your classroom first."

Natsuki's gaze turned to Abel and Avrora, saying, "The two of you, please come with me to the office."

Yukina looked at Abel, awaiting his command. After Abel nodded, she turned around and walked towards her classroom.

Natsuki, watching this, couldn't help but sigh. She seemed to know who had brought them here.

Lion King Organization!

Composing herself, she looked at the devil and vampire before her. "The two of you, please follow me."

"Okay, thank you for leading the way, Natsuki-chan." Abel said with a smile.

Natsuki was a bit helpless and couldn't quite react. She would just get used to it.

Soon, the three arrived at Natsuki's private office.

As the door closed, Natsuki immediately activated a barrier, isolating any eavesdropping from outside.

After all this was done, her gaze swept back and forth between Abel and Avrora's faces.

She lifted her skirt and bowed to Abel, "Natsuki greets Your Majesty, the Devil King."

"Mm, no need for formalities." Abel nodded.

Then he pulled out a chair and sat down. He would deal with his and Natsuki's matters later. Right now, the most important thing for Natsuki was Avrora.

Not many people knew that the Fourth Primogenitor was Avrora. Once the news of the Fourth Primogenitor's awakening spread, the small Itogami Island would attract many individuals.

So, for safety's sake, Natsuki decided to have her stay at school, and being with Abel after school would also be completely safe.

Natsuki asked, "Avrora, would you like to come to school here?"

"Yes." Avrora nodded.

Such speed was unexpected even by Natsuki.

Shouldn't the two of them have some back and forth before she agreed? Why did she agree directly?

Then she heard Avrora say, "Because Abel is here, he makes me feel at ease."

Of course, besides that, they had discussed this matter in the morning.

Natsuki quickly reacted, pondering silently.

Perhaps having Avrora stay at school, by the King's side, would allow for better monitoring of the Fourth Primogenitor's movements.

"In that case, Avrora, welcome to school." Natsuki said.

Abel said, "Since you've decided to stay and attend school, you must abide by the school rules."

"Okay, I will abide by the rules." Avrora expressed her trust in Abel.

Since Avrora's enrollment was settled, it was now time for his and Natsuki's matters.

"Avrora, could you please step out for a moment?"

Abel looked at Natsuki and continued, "She and I have something to discuss."

Avrora nodded. "I understand."

After saying that, Avrora left the office.

After Avrora left, only Abel and Natsuki remained in the room. Now it was time for their private matters.

Natsuki asked "May I ask what business Your Majesty has with this humble one?"

Abel stretched and said with a smile, "Of course I have business."

As he spoke, a white light flashed in his hand and a parchment scroll appeared. That's right, this was Natsuki's soul contract with a certain devil.

The moment the parchment scroll appeared,

Natsuki's calm eyes showed a slight ripple.

This... this was her soul contract.

Perceiving it was one thing, but seeing it with her own eyes, Natsuki was still moved.

She took a deep breath, trying to remain composed. "Your Majesty, you've brought out this soul contract, are you trying to..."

Abel raised the scroll in his hand, a smile on his lips. "Of course, it's for a transaction."

"A transaction?"

"Exactly, a transaction."

He tucked the scroll back into his spatial dimension and continued, "However, this transaction should be discussed by your true body."

He walked over to Natsuki and pinched her cheek. The texture was nice.

Feeling the touch on her face, Natsuki was slightly startled but didn't react. After all, her lifeline was in his hands.

Her expression was somewhat complex.

Was she going to make another deal with a devil?

Last time, she offered her soul, and now her true body was in the Prison Barrier, sleeping in another dimension.

And now...

Natsuki looked at Abel, a hint of wariness in her eyes.

Abel smiled at Natsuki and said, "You can believe, or you can't believe. I respect your choice."

Natsuki took a deep breath, her eyes filled with helplessness.

She said, "Let's go."

Abel's lips curved into a smile, and he stood up straight.

Natsuki chanted a spell, and a five-pointed star array appeared beneath their feet. With a flash of light, the two arrived together in an alternate dimension.

Faint mist permeated the air here, and the surroundings were indistinct. In the mist, a massive Prison Barrier faintly emerged, and at the gate, on a red chair, a larger Natsuki sat with her eyes closed.

Abel watched this scene with interest. The one before him was not the true body either. After all, due to the contract, the true body was still around eleven or twelve years old.

Abel smiled, then snapped his fingers.

The space before them shattered. The originally larger Natsuki broke apart, and a person identical to the clone sat on the chair.

Natsuki gained new insight into Abel, then sighed helplessly.

Immediately after, the clone disappeared and the Natsuki on the chair opened her eyes.

She jumped off the chair and came before Abel, looking at him. "Tell me, what kind of transaction do you want?"

Abel said, "It's simple: become a devil, become mine."

Natsuki's eyes flashed with shock but she quickly regained her composure.

"This is no small matter, I need to consider it." She stared intently at Abel, trying to read his intentions from his expression.

Abel smiled. "There's plenty of time, but not much. The soul contract is in my hands, you have no choice."

Listening to Abel's words, Natsuki fell silent.

Meanwhile, Abel surveyed the surroundings, this prison that confined devils and other races.

The Underworld had already moved towards peaceful development. So, this barrier could be dismantled.

After a while, Abel pinched Natsuki's face and said with a smile, "Natsuki-chan, you wouldn't want to spend your entire life in this barrier, would you?"

Natsuki, with her face pinched, was a little annoyed, but mostly conflicted.

Indeed, staying in a different dimension for too long is not good. Although she can go out now, it's always her consciousness and clone that go out. Her main body, however, has always stayed here, guarding the Prison Barrier behind her.

As for becoming a devil and joining Abel's Peerage, this was like a scale to her, and she didn't know which way it would tip.

Besides that, her soul was still in Abel's hands. Perhaps becoming a devil wouldn't be so bad. But she still had to guard this Prison Barrier.
