Chapter 206 - Stronger Than Albion

The next day.

Rest and recuperation complete, it was time to get ready.

"Husband, I've kept you waiting."

Artemis came to Abel's side and hugged his arm, her attire already changed into the divine armor of the Greek pantheon.

Griselda walked over, wearing a Church battle suit. "Hello, I was once a subordinate of Gabriel-sama, Griselda. Now I am Michael-sama's Queen of Hearts. Thank you for taking care of my younger sister."

"You're welcome. I have some maid photos of Xenovia here. I wonder if you are interested."

"Haha, of course. But let's talk about that after we complete the mission."

After a brief chat, Rossweisse, who had changed into her Valkyrie armor, walked over. She said it was armor, but it was actually composed of only three parts: gauntlets, greaves, and a breastplate. This appearance actually carried a hint of allure.

"I am Odin-sama's messenger, Rossweisse."

"Hello, I am Abel, blood relative of Satan Beelzebub."

At this moment, Ajuka, Sirzechs, Azazel, Michael, and Odin arrived at the scene.

Azazel said with a smile, "If it were anyone else, I would say to be careful, but if it's you, kid, I'd worry for Loki."

Ajuka smiled. "That's right, give Loki a good beating."

"No problem."

Abel looked at Odin and asked with a smile, "Old man, do you want Loki dead or alive?"

"Hahaha, interesting kid." Odin stroked his beard and laughed.

"Just don't kill him."

"No problem."

With everything ready, it was time for the teleportation.

"Have a safe journey, everyone."

As Ajuka spoke, a green teleportation array activated beneath Abel and the other three.

Soon, the group arrived at Loki's location.

The surroundings were desolate. On the plain before them, a pyramid formed by a green magic circle emitted light. Loki was sealed within it.

"This place is really desolate."

"Indeed, it looks like Loki is inside."

"What do we do?"

"Let him come out."

At this moment, the ground began to shake.

The pyramid before them began to float, its triangular shape transforming into a four-sided rhombic pyramid.

Soon, as the light continuously flickered, a cracking sound rang out and the magic array shattered into fragments.

Loki floated in the air. "Beelzebub! To use such a petty trick!"

His gaze turned towards Abel and he continued, "I'm truly underestimated, to send only four fellows to stop me."

Rossweisse stepped forward, saying, "Loki, taking up arms against the Chief God is unforgivable!"

"Oh? The Valkyrie by the old man's side? I heard you're excellent, but as an opponent, you're far too weak."

"Beelzebub's blood relative, I know you, the first Devil to slay a God born from a story. But I am not comparable to the Gods from stories."

Abel scoffed, "How do you know without trying? What if you're weaker than those Gods who came out of stories?"

The corner of Loki's lips turned up. "I hope your strength is as tough as your mouth. If that's the case, then you shall be the appetizer for Ragnarok. I hope you can give me a surprise."

As Loki finished speaking, the light behind him continuously flickered, then struck the ground. Explosions rang out, kicking up dust. Immediately after, the howls of wolves could be heard.

As the smoke dissipated, three wolves appeared on the field.

The one in the middle was Fenrir, the demonic wolf created by Loki and possessing god-slaying power, while on its left and right were its children, Hati and Skoll.

Loki revealed a disdainful smile and raised his right hand. The sky grew dim, and then another bolt of lightning struck down.

A long serpent of enormous size appeared. It was a replica of Jörmungandr, one of the Five Dragon Kings. Though called a Dragon King, it was more like a giant worm.

"Kin of Beelzebub, how do you plan to deal with this?" Loki said with a smile, his hands clasped behind his back.

Abel shook his head, then called out to an open space, "Vali, come out."

As he spoke, a magic circle appeared, from which Bikou and Vali walked out.

"Yo! Loki, quite lively, isn't it?" Bikou waved at Loki and said.

Loki ignored Bikou, his gaze was fixed on Vali. "White Dragon Emperor, are you going to interfere as well?"

Vali stood with his arms crossed, his expression unconcerned. "Of course, our collaboration has ended, so there's no problem with switching partners, right?"

Loki snorted coldly, saying nothing.

After all, their relationship was purely one of cooperation, even with the Khaos Brigade. When cooperation ended, they were free to do as they pleased.

Abel placed a hand on Vali's shoulder, pointing at Fenrir. "Vali, the big one is yours. As for the two smaller ones, they're ours."

Vali nodded. "No problem. I'm taking Fenrir with me, though."

"Whatever, I don't care about these things." Abel said, stretching his body.

"Alright, I'm going first, Bikou."

"Coming!"

Bikou stepped onto his Somersault Cloud, and Vali activated his Sacred Gear and charged towards Fenrir.

"Abel-sama, Vali is part of the Khaos Brigade, is that alright?" Griselda looked at Abel and asked.

She had no good feelings for people who joined lawless organizations like the Khaos Brigade.

Rossweisse and Artemis nodded in agreement.

"Don't worry, I trust Vali. Can you handle the other two wolves?"

"One person would struggle, two would be just right, but we're short on people here. No one is dealing with Loki and Jörmungandr."

Griselda said.

At first, they thought they only needed to fight Loki, but now they were short-handed.

"Don't worry, there are still people." Abel raised his hand.

In the sky, Loki watched this scene without urgency. As a god, he disdained such despicable tactics as sneak attacks.

As the summoning magic activated, a figure appeared.

"Master is truly heartless. To call me here just for a fight." Esdeath walked out of the summoning circle.

Abel smiled. "Esdeath, thank you for your trouble."

Esdeath smiled enchantingly. "To fight for Master, I don't feel troubled at all."

With that, she drew the saber from her waist. The surrounding temperature plummeted, and bone-chilling cold assailed them.

"Everyone, I'll go first."

As she spoke, Esdeath charged towards Hati.

"Quite impatient, aren't you?"

Abel looked at Griselda and the others. "Artemis, you go assist Esdeath. Griselda and Rossweisse, you two go deal with Skoll. As for Loki and Jörmungandr, they're mine."

"Understood."

Everyone received their orders and rushed towards their respective targets.

Loki looked at Abel, scoffing contemptuously, "Just you?"

"Of course, to deal with you, I alone am enough."

As he spoke, Abel walked step by step onto non-existent stairs, ascending into the air.

At the same time, with every few steps, a piece of the Emperor Armor appeared on his body. In the blink of an eye, he was completely enveloped by the Emperor Armor, shining with golden light.

Seeing this, Loki's expression changed. But adhering to his arrogant style, he still retorted stubbornly, "Hmph. I didn't expect such a pleasant surprise, this is truly the best encounter."

With that, he snapped his and a bolt of lightning sped towards Abel, and at the same time, Jörmungandr's serpentine body rapidly slithered, lunging at Abel, its enormous body stirring up a gust of wind.

"Is that all?"

Abel raised his hand and dispersed the lightning.

Looking at the attacking Jörmungandr, his lips curved upwards.

A golden card was flicked out. Immediately after, a golden light rapidly passed through the card.

Then, to Loki's shocked eyes, a golden dragon head appeared. It opened its mouth and charged directly Jörmungandr, its body speeding out of the card like a train.

This was the Light Emperor War Dragon!

In a single encounter, Jörmungandr was sent flying, crashing heavily between the mountains.

"Roar!!!"

The Emperor War Dragon roared to the sky.

Then, a powerful aura, centered on it, crushed outwards in all directions.

Vali and Esdeath, who were fighting nearby, were all affected by the aftershock.

Vali looked towards Abel's position, his expression solemn. "A golden dragon? Albion, how do you compare to it?"

Albion, residing within Vali's body, had a solemn expression. This aura surpassed his and Ddraig's.

He said, "I am not its equal."

Albion looked at the Emperor War Dragon, wondering whether it was stronger or weaker than Great Red and Ophis.

Esdeath, looking at the golden Emperor War Dragon, felt a surge of pride.

This was her Master.

Similarly, Artemis's eyes gleamed with light. This was her future husband.

Griselda, on the other hand, felt that Xenovia was truly out of her league with him.

Rossweisse looked at the golden dragon, unsure what to say.

"You haven't been out in a long time, you must be stifled." Abel stroked the dragon's head.

He looked at Jörmungandr, who was shaking its head below, and said, "It's yours. Go on, get some exercise."

The Emperor War Dragon nodded.

Whoosh!

It transformed into a golden light and charged towards Jörmungandr.
