Lanista Matilda and his three guards walked into a hotel lobby.
"Quickly."
"Prepare some food for me," said Lanista. The three guards nodded and made a signal to the hotel workers as they moved quickly to prepare food for the prince.
The outside of the hotel had more than a hundred men in black suits and machine guns.
"It is really a needle's eye act." Lanista said to one of his guards.
"Don't you think, Arjoe?"
Arjoe, a man with long silver hair, nodded.
"If you say so, prince."
Lanista did not want to meet with the civilians or have anything to do with them. In his eyes, civilians just exist to pay taxes and give what they have to him so that he can live as he meant to be.
Why he should meet with these low-lives, he never understood.
But his father, King Masnal Matilda, did not give any chance to reject this action.
He said that he must meet with his people and gain their support if he wants more of a robust empire to manage in the future times.
"I don't like being ordered."
"In no time, I will be king, and I can do everything." While Lanista thought about all these things, Arjoe noticed that one of the guards was looking at him.
He went to the side of the short man with loose clothes.
"What is it, Radey?" he asked.
Radey looked around and said it.
"We have been notified that there was a hunter and two of his friends that entered the country and encountered the intelligence agents of Lenix City."
"After the encounter, they vanished from all the cameras and eyes."
"Nelson, the man responsible for the intelligence of the city, a beginner NEN user, says that the hunter is especially strong and dangerous."
Arjoe thought for a moment, and then a woman arrived at their side, blonde and deadly-looking, tall and strong.
Arjoe looked at the woman and then filled her in after listening. The woman thought.
"It would be pretty dumb to think that that hunter has two non-nen users on his side."
"Three NEN users, commanded by a hunter that is said to be dangerous, arrive here."
"It is a known fact that this country is not in peace with Hunters..."
Arjoe added.
"The V5 does not like the king or the kingdom either."
Radey smirked and said it.
"It is not like I am surprised they don't like this country."
"Don't you think the same, Nilse?"
Nilse, a blonde woman, shook her head.
"It is irrelevant why they don't like the country or not."
"If these three are here because they are targeting something, which they are definitely considering, they are led by a hunter."
"We should be careful."
Arjoe touched his chin and then said it.
"Do you think it is just a coincidence that these people have arrived here just after Prince Lanista announced that he will be meeting with the citizens?"
"In ordinary times, the prince never leaves the palace that is protected by ten thousand men and big weapons."
Nilse and Radey looked into each other's eyes and nodded.
"Yeah."
"We would be dumb to think that those two things are not connected."
Arjoe nodded.
"Still, it does not change anything."
"The order of meeting is from the king himself, and the prince is just following his father's orders."
"We cannot report this information to the king and tell him to cancel the meeting."
"It would not be good for us or the king to stand."
"It is easy to start a rumor that the prince is scared and the king taken aback due to some hunters."
Nilse and Radey thought, and then Nilse spoke.
"The only thing we can do is be more aware of our surroundings and more careful than usual times."
"If we expect an attack in a short time, we keep defending the prince."
Radey added.
"That is the only way."
While three guards spoke, Lanista did not care about what was happening or what they were talking about, just eating and having fun with the woman sent by the hotel; from time to time, he slapped women and hurt them.
While he hurt the women, his eyes shined, and his face showed a twisted smile.
-
Conrad, Adarte, and Anisa sat down on the roof together.
Adarte was holding a binocular and looking at the entrance of a big and impressive hotel.
"The distance is five hundred meters."
"We saw the target entering the hotel." Adarte said as he watched Conrad start thinking.
"How to deal with them..."
He then started talking to Adarte and Anisa.
"The one hundred armed men are not that important."
"At the very most, they are just meatwalls."
"The three people beside the prince," he added, and his eyes got serious.
Anisa continued.
"If they were only two people, we could use the same strategy we used to take on the Herivo family."
"But now they are three."
"Each of us has to fight against one of them."
"Considering we don't know what kind of abilities they have, it is dangerous."
Conrad nodded.
He looked at the sky for a moment and then said it.
"I presume they would prefer to stay at the hotel for the night."
"They would not like to move out at the night."
"Most likely, Nelson and intelligence agencies in this country already notified them that there is a hunter in the country..."
Adarte stopped observing and then asked.
"So, are we going in?"
Conrad nodded.
"It is the best course of action."
"Outside, due to the heavy number of guards and openings, it is hard for us to get to the prince."
"Their focus is protecting, not fighting to kill us."
"Two of them could try to stop us while one of them takes the prince and escapes to a more heavily guarded safe place."
"For them losing two people is okay."
Conrad said.
"It seems like this job is not going to end silently."
"If I cause too much mayhem, they will escape."
Conrad then nodded.
"The plan is that I will be showing myself first and then start fighting, and then you two will focus on the two other nen users."
"They will not expect my abilities."
As these words were said, Adarte and Anisa both nodded.
They were already thinking about this, but now that Conrad said it not openly but somewhat clearly for them, they understood.
It was real and important information for them.
"Conrad has more than one or two NEN abilities in his arsenal," was their thought.
