Chapter 418: The Real Daughter Devotee Arrives
"Madara, I want to visit a few other ninja villages first. Will you stay here with Chiyo… or?"
In order to fully address the issue Madara had raised and make the Konohagakure Village great again, restoring its simple, honest culture, Senju Hashirama, the ever-present "third wheel", finally spoke up and decided to travel to other villages to investigate.
"Go ahead, Hashirama. Be thorough. This concerns the future of Konohagakure."
"As for me, I won't go with you. My current body is too weak. If I follow you, I'll just drag you down like last time in Konohagakure."
"But I can give you a tip. Focus on observing the jinchūriki. They should be the most obvious cases in every village."
Uchiha Madara calmly declined Hashirama's invitation and even offered serious advice, acting just like an old friend.
In reality, this was exactly the moment he had been waiting for.
Only by sending away this "third wheel" could he seize the chance to completely win over Chiyo, successfully revive himself, and carry out his plan.
And so, everyone began making their moves.
Hashirama used Flying Thunder Formation to rapidly travel between the major ninja villages, gathering intelligence about these "bloodthirsty villagers."
Madara focused all his efforts on persuading and winning over Chiyo, aiming for resurrection.
The masked man began scouting the area around Naruto and Sasuke's residence, preparing to seize the Rinnegan.
At this moment, someone came knocking.
The Akatsuki organization in the Rain Village had begun offering services, healing and Impure World Reincarnation, in exchange for "contribution points." This information had already spread among the higher-ups of all the major ninja villages.
Especially after Pakura was successfully reanimated and fully restored to the Sunagakure Village, this was no longer just insider knowledge.
The entire ninja world now knew.
However, contribution points were not easy to earn.
Simply working for them might not even be enough to earn a single Impure World Reincarnation opportunity in a lifetime.
On top of that, the person in charge of the project was Orochimaru.
His reputation spoke for itself.
So even though the news had spread everywhere, the Rain Village wasn't overwhelmed with crowds or troublemakers.
This time, however, the person who arrived surprised Shiromo.
But after calculating the timeline, it actually made perfect sense for this person to appear now.
His name was Sanzu Amado.
If you haven't watched 'Boruto', or only saw the early parts, you might not recognize him.
Amado is the chief scientist of the Kara organization under Otsutsuki Isshiki during the 'Boruto' era. He developed a large number of scientific ninja tools and conducted extensive human experiments.
To enable Isshiki's Karma resurrection, he experimented on children, creating Kawaki, who could withstand Karma, and Code, who could only receive a defective White Karma.
He also discovered the genes of the Otsutsuki God and fused them to create Daemon and Eida.
To defeat Isshiki, he even cloned Jiraiya, creating "Kashin Koji."
From a core villain, he later became a core member of the protagonists' side.
It could be said that Amado is the origin of everything in 'Boruto'. He's like that "toy-selling genius scientist" archetype, remove him, and the entire story falls apart.
So why did Amado keep switching sides?
The reason is simple.
His daughter, Sanzu Akebi, died of a serious illness.
Anyone who has played 'Asura's Wrath' would know: never underestimate how far a father will go for his daughter.
Amado joined Isshiki and researched cloning technology in hopes of reviving his daughter using the power of the Otsutsuki.
The golden-haired, long-legged cyborg Delta, who once stomped on Naruto as a "reward", was created using his daughter's genes.
But their personalities were completely different.
This wasn't an accident. To resist Isshiki and grant his "daughter" greater power, Amado implanted combat programming and a cold, battle-oriented personality.
The result was that Delta ended up hating Amado the most.
A consequence of his own actions.
Moreover, a clone is not a true resurrection.
After realizing this, and understanding that Isshiki intended to destroy the world, which would leave his daughter with no home even if revived, Amado decisively defected to the protagonists' side.
As for which village Amado originally belonged to, it was never clearly stated.
But now that he appeared earlier in the timeline, he directly revealed it himself.
Surprisingly, Amado was from the Land of Rain, though not a resident of the Rain Village itself.
This explains why he was able to obtain Jiraiya's remains early on and later use them for cloning, while Yakushi Kabuto, the grave-digging expert, failed to find suitable material for Impure World Reincarnation.
It also explains why, in the original story, after the fall of Akatsuki, the Rain Village became Kara's base, Amado being recruited nearby makes perfect sense.
Furthermore, in terms of scientific infrastructure, aside from the Kumogakure Village, which in the movies developed massive "chakra cannons", only the Rain Village could support Amado's level of research.
Looking at the timeline: In the original timeline, while Akatsuki still existed, Amado's daughter was alive, and all his energy was devoted to caring for her.
After Akatsuki's fall, his daughter passed away around the same time.
In despair, Amado began collecting the technological remnants left behind by Akatsuki in the Rain Village, studying and integrating them, and eventually advancing scientific ninja tools and cloning technology.
Now, Amado had come here because his daughter was gravely ill, and he had heard that the Rain Village could treat even incurable diseases.
Kimimaro, Ringo Ameyuri, and Kurama Yakumo were all living proof.
With that in mind, Amado naturally came here full of hope.
The only problem was that he wasn't yet the brilliant scientist he would later become.
While his daughter was still alive, all his energy had been focused on her, leaving him little time for research.
As a result, he had no real means to earn "contribution points."
However, he had also learned that Pakura's Impure World Reincarnation in the Sunagakure Village hadn't been paid for directly with contribution points, it had been borrowed from someone else.
But that person no longer had enough points left.
So Amado thought: instead of begging others for loans, why not go straight to the source?
If it meant saving his daughter, he was willing to work for free for the rest of his life.
And that was how the current situation came to be.
Shiromo briefly explained Amado's future achievements to Orochimaru.
Orochimaru's eyes immediately lit up.
"This is a talent."
Then, he showed a hint of regret.
"Unfortunately, fate has already changed. I wonder where he originally found the Otsutsuki God's genes."
Clearly, what interested Orochimaru most in Shiromo's story was that mysterious Otsutsuki God gene, the source behind creations like Daemon, Eida, and Koji Kashin, and the very concept of divine techniques (Shinjutsu).
