Chapter 415: Team Guy Saves Konoha
Crack!
The earth wall created by Kakashi's Earth Style: Mud Wall split apart completely. Surging waves burst through the fissure, rushing forward like a flood toward the core of Konoha.
"Kamui!"
Kakashi shouted, and the space before him twisted as vast amounts of water were drawn into the Kamui dimension.
But unfortunately, even pushing Kamui to its absolute limit, Kakashi couldn't contain this overwhelming, world-engulfing wave.
He could only block a small portion in the center. The flanks remained completely out of reach.
"Kakashi, keep it up! Leave the rest to us!"
"Go, Kuromaru!"
"Let's fight together, Haimaru!"
"Woof woof...!"
Inuzuka Tsume's dog Kuromaru, along with Inuzuka Hana's dog Haimaru and their brothers, transformed into four spiraling canine tornadoes and charged into the waves.
That's right, this was a downgraded, modified version of Fang Passing Fang, known simply as "Passing Fang."
Fang Passing Fang is the signature technique of the Inuzuka clan. Both the user and their dog, after activating Beast Mimicry, spin at high speed to attack the enemy together.
But in this situation, Tsume, Hana, and the other Inuzuka clan members behind them had no desire to make close contact with that… thing.
So the dogs had to act on their own.
Originally, Fang Passing Fang also worked with Transformation Jutsu, dogs could transform into humans to use claw attacks enhanced by Beast Mimicry, forming a lower-tier combat whirlwind.
Or humans could transform into dogs, even forming two-headed wolves, using their heads and fangs as the spearhead of the tornado.
Now, the dogs were using the second method.

Soon, the dogs were full. They couldn't eat anymore.
Once they were full, their high-speed spinning no longer served as a barrier, instead, it risked causing the waves to splash outward.

A voice came from behind Kakashi, making him let out a sigh of relief.
The one who arrived was Yamato.
With his appearance, trees erupted from the ground, forming four wooden walls around the outer edges of the original mud wall, creating a larger enclosure.
This wasn't something techniques like the Four Violet Flames Formation or the Four Red Yang Formation could achieve, it was sealing through purely physical means.
"Kakashi-senpai, Guy and the others are here to help too."
Maintaining his hand seals, Yamato moved to Kakashi's left.
"Guy's here too? That's good…"
As soon as Kakashi finished speaking, he collapsed from exhaustion.
He had already been forced to sustain Kamui for a long time, and then pushed himself even further, overextending his chakra to maintain a wide-range Kamui to protect Konoha.
By now, Kakashi was completely drained. Up until this moment, he had been holding on purely through willpower.
Now that Yamato and Guy had arrived, along with reinforcements, he could finally relax.

As cold sweat formed on Guy's forehead and he instinctively stepped back, Rock Lee clenched his fists, burning with passion as he shouted.
"Well said, Lee!"
Fired up by Lee's words, Guy's youthful spirit ignited. He pulled out a pair of nunchaku from his pocket, tossed one to Lee, and charged forward first.
"Konoha Infinite Great Whirlwind!"
"Guy-sensei, I'm coming too! Konoha Infinite Great Whirlwind!"
The two taijutsu specialists used their high-speed spinning to replicate something akin to Fang Passing Fang.
But while Fang Passing Fang formed narrow tornadoes, the Konoha Whirlwind was flatter, covering a wider area.
With one high and one low, Guy and Lee managed to block part of the waves.
But what about the rest?
The Inuzuka clan's dogs had already collapsed, exhausted (and overfed) from the first wave.
"Neji, hurry up, come help protect Konoha...!"
Spinning rapidly while wielding his nunchaku, Rock Lee shouted his final plea.
Neji, who had been hesitating, finally made up his mind.
"Tenten."
He turned to his teammate.
"Got it."
Tenten understood immediately. She took out a storage scroll and pulled out two massive Fūma shuriken, tossing them to Neji.
Gripping them tightly, Neji began spinning them in his hands before charging toward the incoming wave.
"Rotation...!"
A blue, spiraling sphere of chakra forcefully pushed the waves back.
Meanwhile, at the Hyuga clan compound in the distance,
Hyuga Hiashi and Hyuga Hinata, with their Byakugan activated, observed the situation.
Seeing Neji step forward to save Konoha, his figure resolute and unyielding, Hinata couldn't help but turn to her father.
"Father, shouldn't we…?"
"Hinata, this is a great and noble act. We shouldn't take away the glory that belongs to Neji. He needs this."
Hiashi's expression shifted slightly before he forced a smile and gently patted Hinata's head.
As if he didn't want to help?
As the head of the Hyuga clan, possessing the Byakugan and one of Konoha's strongest sensory abilities, he had been among the first to notice the problem.
If he had wanted to act, he could have gathered the Hyuga clan and arrived even before the Inuzuka clan.
With him leading the Rotation and others using Eight Trigrams Palm techniques, they could have easily formed a manual "True Thousand Hands" to block the waves.
But what would be the result?
The Hyuga clan's reputation would be ruined.
Ruined in a very literal sense.
The Hyuga clan favored wearing white clothing.
Just look at Neji now, his clothes had already turned yellow.
