The family fractured. Sisters drifted apart. Her aunt died with regret, and her father did too. The family of eleven survived, but they grew distant, as people who had endured, not people who were protected.

She died full of regret.

Then she was reborn again during the mid-term exam of her 5th grade, right before the start of her mid-break vacation.

She was 11 years old again, at the start of her middle school, & this time she was not alone.

An omnipotent system awakened within her—far more advanced than anything. It possessed records of past timelines, branching futures, investment probabilities, legal outcomes, and strategic knowledge. It offered a personal space she could enter with her soul or body, rare enhancement pills, and access to future-changing opportunities.

But she knew nothing came free.

Every resource required quests. Every shortcut demanded a cost. And every piece of knowledge could be refused.

This was not a system meant to replace her choices. It was a system meant to test them.

Regressed five years before the first betrayal, she knew what was coming—the verbal agreements, the erosion of authority, the marriage she couldn’t stop, and when trust became a weapon.

She didn’t return for revenge. She believed that if things didn’t turn for the better, she would create her own path for the betterment of her family.

For a whole year, she observed. She strategized.

She studied every dynamic, every action of her family. She planned her own business empire and pushed her sisters & family members toward financial independence, so they would not trap themselves in regret-filled lives.

When her uncle and siblings restarted their business, she did not appear beside them. She did not stand at the front. She did not sign documents.

Shell companies, silent investments, layered ownership, and market positioning became her only language. While others clashed openly, she shifted pricing, supply access, capital flow, and regulatory paths—always untraceable.

First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for the long period of inactivity on Turn of Tides: A Family's Fate Reversed.


Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen situation, the laptop containing all of my rough drafts, outlines, and final chapters stopped working several months ago. Since this story is a slow-burn family drama with many interconnected plotlines and long-term foreshadowing, I don't want to continue by relying only on memory and risk lowering its quality.


Rather than rushing the story or rewriting important parts incorrectly, I've decided to temporarily pause it until I can recover my drafts or properly rebuild my notes.


To everyone who has supported, commented on, and patiently waited for updates, thank you. Your encouragement means more than you know, and I truly appreciate every reader who gave this story a chance.


While I work toward bringing Turn of Tides back, I also don't want to stop writing altogether. During this period, I'll be starting a brand-new novel with a completely different pace and atmosphere. Instead of a slow-burn family drama, my next story will be a fast-paced apocalypse and rebirth novel filled with survival, civilization building, strategic planning, and satisfying moments of karma.


I hope this new journey can keep you entertained while I continue working toward the day I can properly return to Turn of Tides: A Family's Fate Reversed.
