Harry had fallen asleep on the Weasleys' sofa sometime after midnight.
He hadn't meant to. One minute he'd been sitting there listening to Fred and George argue over whether a self-stirring saucepan was genuinely useful or simply another excuse to make something explode, and the next his head had tipped against the back of the sofa and he'd been gone.
The last thing he remembered was Ginny quietly laughing at him.
The first thing he heard when he woke was the distant sound of someone calling his name.
"Harry."
He opened his eyes.
For a moment, nothing made sense.
There was no familiar ceiling above him, no soft morning light coming through the curtains of his bedroom at Grimmauld Place, and certainly no sign of the Weasley sitting room. Instead, he found himself standing inside a cramped metal corridor filled with unfamiliar machinery, strange lights and the low vibration of something that seemed to be travelling through space.
Harry stared at it.
"Right."
He rubbed his face.
"That's new."
A door opened at the end of the corridor, revealing a man wearing robes unlike anything Harry had seen before. He looked human enough, although the whole situation had already passed the point where Harry was going to assume anything was normal.
"You're the Jedi Knight?" the man asked.
Harry stared at him.
"Depends who's asking."
The man blinked.
Harry sighed.
"Sorry. Long story."
The man gave him a slightly confused look before introducing himself as Derrin Weller, a representative of the Jedi Order, and then immediately started explaining that Harry's arrival had come at an unfortunate time because the Temple was under attack.
Harry's eyebrows rose.
"Of course it is."
"Excuse me?"
"Nothing."
Harry stepped off the shuttle.
And then the screaming started.
The attackers were hideous.
Harry had fought Death Eaters, dragons, Dark creatures, Saiyans, Fire Nation soldiers and enough other things to fill several lifetimes, but the Flesh Raiders were still unpleasant to look at. They charged through the Temple grounds in large groups, swinging crude weapons and attacking anyone who got in their way.
Harry's hand instinctively went towards his wand.
It wasn't there.
He froze.
"Brilliant."
A Flesh Raider charged him.
Harry ducked underneath its first swing, drove his fist into its stomach and watched the creature fold around the blow.
That felt familiar.
His wand might have been gone, but his body remembered.
Harry twisted aside from another attack, caught the creature's wrist and threw it across the courtyard.
Then his eyes narrowed.
Something was wrong.
He could feel something.
Not magic.
Not exactly.
It was faint, almost like the sensation of ki, but Harry couldn't quite place it. There was a current running through everything around him, something he could sense without actually seeing it.
"The Force," he muttered.
He had heard enough about it during the journey he'd experienced in his sleep to recognise the feeling.
Harry grinned.
"Right. That might actually be useful."
He moved.
The fight ended quickly.
By the time the last Flesh Raider had been driven from the Temple grounds, Harry had helped free several young Jedi who had been trapped during the attack, and Derrin was staring at him as if he'd just watched a particularly dangerous animal stroll into the Temple and start helping people.
Harry wiped the blood from his knuckles.
"So, where's the next problem?"
Derrin looked genuinely uncomfortable.
"How did you know there would be another one?"
Harry glanced around.
"Because there always is."
Derrin contacted him later with another mission, this time involving the Gnarls, where a Flesh Raider cave was giving the creatures easier access to the Jedi Temple.
Harry headed there.
The cave was dark, damp and unpleasant, and the deeper he went, the more obvious it became that the Flesh Raiders weren't acting entirely on their own.
Someone was helping them.
Harry eventually found him.
Callef.
The man possessed Force sensitivity and had been using it to aid the Flesh Raiders.
Harry tried talking first.
It didn't work.
So they fought.
Callef was dangerous, but Harry had spent years fighting people far more powerful than him, and the battle ended with Callef unconscious on the floor.
Harry reported back to the Jedi.
That was when he met Master Orgus Din.
And, shortly afterwards, Satele Shan.
Harry had seen plenty of impressive people during his lives, but Satele immediately struck him as someone who didn't waste words. She watched him carefully during the meeting, and Harry got the distinct feeling that she was trying to work out exactly what he was.
He couldn't blame her.
Orgus eventually made the decision to take Harry on as his Padawan.
Harry nearly laughed.
"I've technically already been trained by several different masters."
Orgus raised an eyebrow.
"Several?"
"Yes."
"How many?"
Harry considered it.
"Depends which life we're counting."
Orgus stared at him.
Harry smiled.
"Long story."
His new master sent him to Kalikori Village, where relations between the Jedi and Twi'lek refugees had deteriorated badly because of the Flesh Raider attacks.
Harry found himself dealing with something that was, in many ways, harder than fighting.
People.
The Matriarch wanted protection for her people. The refugees wanted respect. The Jedi wanted cooperation. And everyone seemed to think someone else should take the first step.
Harry listened.
Then he acted.
He helped defend the village, dealt with the Flesh Raiders and worked to repair the relationship between the refugees and the Jedi.
It wasn't perfect.
But it was better.
Orgus soon informed him that the Flesh Raiders had constructed an energy shield around one of their camps, and Harry joined his master in taking it down.
They succeeded.
Then a voice came from the darkness.
Bengel Morr.
A former Padawan of Orgus.
A Dark Jedi.
He told Harry that he intended to destroy the Jedi Order.
Harry stared at him.
"Bit ambitious."
Bengel's expression hardened.
Harry shrugged.
"Just saying."
Bengel disappeared before Harry could do anything about it.
When Harry returned to Kalikori, he discovered that the Matriarch had died and her daughter, Ranna Tao'Ven, had taken her place.
Harry stayed long enough to help protect the village's crops from toxic Flesh Raider attacks before Orgus called again.
This time, the Flesh Raiders were moving into the Ruins of Kaleth.
Harry investigated.
The ruins led him into another encounter, this time with Jedi Master Bela Kiwiiks and her Padawan, Kira Carsen.
Bela asked Harry to establish holorecordings throughout the ruins so that the Jedi Council could monitor Flesh Raider movements.
Harry did exactly that.
And then Orgus contacted him again.
There were Flesh Raider bases scattered around Tython.
One of them was located in Upper Kaleth.
Harry went there.
What he found worried him.
Some of the Flesh Raiders had been trained in the Force.
Bengel Morr was teaching them.
Orgus contacted Harry with the news that the Flesh Raiders were preparing a full-scale invasion, and Kalikori Village was in danger.
Harry raced back.
He didn't even make it to the village.
The Twi'leks captured him.
It turned out they'd made a deal with Bengel Morr, trading Orgus to him in exchange for their own safety.
Harry was not impressed.
Fortunately, the small astromech droid T7 had a solution.
Harry had encountered the little droid earlier, and T7 possessed the information needed to locate Orgus. With help from the Jedi archivist, Harry followed the trail to the Ancient Forge.
The Forge was old.
Very old.
And the Flesh Raiders had filled the surrounding caves.
Harry fought his way through them until he found Bengel Morr.
The two stared at each other.
Bengel smiled.
Harry sighed.
"Can we not do this?"
"No."
"Fair enough."
The fight was brutal.
Bengel was powerful, angry and experienced, but Harry had one advantage that Bengel couldn't account for.
Harry had been through worse.
He fought with the instincts of a Saiyan, the discipline of a wizard and the awareness he'd begun developing through the Force.
Bengel eventually fell.
Harry could have killed him.
He didn't.
Instead, he handed him over to the Jedi Council.
Orgus watched Harry carefully afterwards.
Then he told him it was time.
Harry had earned the right to build his own lightsaber.
He entered the Ancient Forge and constructed the weapon himself.
When the blade ignited, blue light filled the chamber.
Harry stared at it.
A lightsaber.
After everything else he'd collected across his lives, this somehow felt different.
It was his.
When Harry returned to the Jedi Council, they declared him a Jedi Knight.
No more Padawan.
No more apprentice.
Harry looked down at the blue blade.
"That went rather quickly."
Orgus gave him a look.
Harry smiled.
"Sorry."
But the Council had sensed something darker spreading across the galaxy.
Harry was sent to Coruscant.
Before leaving, he stopped aboard the Republic Fleet and began studying a more advanced Jedi discipline, eventually choosing a path somewhere between the direct strength of a Guardian and the adaptable approach of a Sentinel.
Harry was becoming something unusual.
And he was starting to realise that was probably going to be a recurring theme.
Coruscant
Coruscant was enormous.
Harry stood there for several minutes after arriving, staring up at the endless city.
"Right," he said quietly. "And I thought London traffic was bad."
He met General Var Suthra, Orgus, Kira Carsen and Doctor Tarnis, and quickly found himself dragged into a crisis involving a secret Republic project called the Planet Prison.
The plans had been stolen by the Black Sun.
Harry went after them.
The trail led to the Migrant Merchants' Guild, where he infiltrated a warehouse and recovered the stolen data.
The Rodian Vistis Garn was waiting for him.
Harry defeated him and his turrets, recovered the files and returned them to Agent Galen.
Only Galen immediately told him something had gone wrong.
Tarnis had been kidnapped.
Kira had followed the kidnappers and was holding them in place, but she needed help.
Harry and Kira broke into the hideout.
It was a trap.
They were decoys.
After interrogating one of the kidnappers, Harry discovered that Tarnis was being held at the Black Sun headquarters.
Except he wasn't.
Harry eventually discovered the truth.
Tarnis had never been kidnapped.
He was a Sith.
The entire thing had been staged so that he could gain access to the Planet Prison project.
Harry followed him to the Jedi ruins and found Tarnis communicating with Darth Angral and several other Sith.
Tarnis saw Harry.
Harry saw Tarnis.
"You're going to make this difficult, aren't you?" Tarnis asked.
Harry ignited his lightsaber.
"Probably."
The fight was over soon afterwards.
Tarnis died.
Angral watched.
And the Sith Lord promised Harry that he would pay for it.
Harry returned to the Republic base, where the truth about the Planet Prison was uncovered.
Tarnis had transmitted information to Angral, and the signal had been traced to Ord Mantell.
Kira was authorised to accompany Harry.
They were given a ship.
Then they left.
Ord Mantell
Harry met SIS Agent Ottau and began investigating the transmission.
T7 helped download the communication data while Kira stayed with the ship.
They found something far worse than they expected.
The Desolator.
A weapon capable of destroying entire worlds.
Harry returned to the ship and discovered Kira had been captured by a Sith.
He arrived just in time.
The Sith attacked.
Harry won.
Kira was freed.
And the Republic now knew that Angral was preparing something catastrophic.
Facilities on Nar Shaddaa and Taris were being raided, apparently so that Angral's people could gather components for the Desolator.
Harry's jaw tightened.
"Then we stop them."
Taris
On Taris, Harry was ordered to locate Doctor Nasan Godera, the inventor responsible for many of the Republic's weapons.
Imperial Intelligence was after him too.
Harry eventually found Godera's droid, RE-MO, and followed the trail.
The Imperials got there first.
Godera was captured by Watcher One.
Watcher One offered Harry a deal, claiming he could extract information from Godera without killing him if Harry gave him time.
Harry wasn't interested.
He fought his way through the facility, defeated Watcher One and rescued Godera.
The doctor agreed to help the Republic.
Nar Shaddaa
The next mission involved something called Power Guard.
The Republic had once tried to create soldiers strong enough to fight Sith directly.
The project had gone badly.
Agent Galen had disappeared while investigating it.
Harry worked with the SIS to track him down.
Eventually, he found the recruitment centre and discovered refugees had been volunteering as test subjects.
Then the Imperials arrived.
Harry fought his way through the facility until he found evidence that Galen had been taken by Lord Sadic.
The Sith had turned the Power Guard project into something far worse.
Harry eventually found Galen.
The man had been transformed into one of the Power Guards and was being controlled by Sadic.
Harry fought him.
Galen briefly broke free.
"Stop Sadic," he whispered.
Then he died.
Harry didn't say anything.
He simply turned towards the direction Sadic had gone.
Sadic was waiting.
He was powerful.
Harry was angrier.
The battle was vicious, and when it ended, Sadic was dead.
The SIS recovered the data.
Harry returned to General Var Suthra.
But the situation was becoming personal.
A supposed Imperial defector named Valis offered to surrender.
He demanded to meet Kira.
Harry and Kira went.
It was a trap.
Valis revealed that he was connected to Kira and that both of them were Children of the Emperor.
Kira explained what that meant.
People raised in the Sith Academy.
People taken to meet the Emperor.
People who came back changed, with their memories of the encounter erased.
Kira had run.
Harry understood why.
The two defeated Valis and returned to the Jedi.
And then came more bad news.
Master Kiwiiks had disappeared on Tatooine.
Orgus had disappeared on Alderaan.
Harry and Kira returned to Tython to report what they'd learned.
The Council agreed that Kira should remain under Harry's care.
Harry stared at her.
Kira stared back.
"Don't say it."
Harry smiled.
"I wasn't going to."
"You were."
"Possibly."
Tatooine
Tatooine was hot.
Harry hated it almost immediately.
The mission itself wasn't much better.
Doctor Godera informed him about the Shock Drum, a weapon capable of creating vibrations powerful enough to kill people, damage droids and potentially destabilise the planet's core.
Harry stared at him.
"Why does everyone keep making weapons capable of destroying planets?"
Godera didn't have an answer.
Harry found the facility and discovered that a Sith named Lord Praven had stolen the weapon and kidnapped Master Kiwiiks.
Praven challenged Harry.
Harry accepted.
The duel was hard fought, but Harry eventually defeated him.
Praven gave him the deactivation codes.
Then came the catch.
Kiwiiks was near the activated weapon.
If Harry didn't get there quickly, the vibrations would kill her.
Harry ran.
He fought a Sand Demon along the way, reached the weapon and shut it down.
Kiwiiks survived.
Harry was exhausted.
But there was no time to rest.
Alderaan
Alderaan brought another weapon.
The Death Mark.
A system capable of marking a person so that a laser could strike them from anywhere on the planet.
Harry met Count Alde and Aleyna Hark.
Then the Count was marked.
The laser fired.
He died before Harry could stop it.
Harry's expression went cold.
He followed the trail to the research facility and found Orgus alive.
For about thirty seconds, Harry was simply relieved.
Then Orgus explained that Aleyna was a spy.
She had stolen the weapon and intended to use it against her enemies.
Harry tracked her to House Thul.
Aleyna attacked.
Harry defeated her.
But she'd already placed Death Marks on several people, including Harry.
The weapon was destroyed before it could be used again.
Then Orgus revealed the real problem.
Darth Angral.
The Sith had been behind everything.
Harry followed the trail.
And when he finally reached Nefarid, the Sith showed him a recording.
Orgus was killed.
Harry stared at the image.
Something inside him went very still.
Nefarid attacked.
Harry killed him.
Then he found the tracker Orgus had placed on Angral.
The signal led to Uphrades.
The planet was dead.
The Desolator had already been used.
Harry looked across the ruined surface.
"No."
He contacted the Republic.
The answer came quickly.
Angral was planning to use the Desolator on Tython.
Harry's home.
The Jedi Temple.
His friends.
His master.
Harry turned around.
"Let's go."
The Oppressor
Harry and Kira boarded the ship carrying the weapon.
They destroyed the Desolator.
Then they confronted Angral.
The battle nearly killed them.
Kira suddenly froze.
The Emperor had taken control of her.
Harry stared at her.
"Kira."
Her eyes changed.
The Emperor ordered Angral to kill Harry.
Kira fought back.
For a moment she managed to break free.
Then the Emperor took control again.
Harry had no choice.
He fought her.
Kira screamed at him to keep going.
Harry eventually defeated the Emperor's influence.
Kira collapsed.
Harry caught her.
"Got you."
She looked up weakly.
"That was horrible."
"Yeah."
"Thank you."
Harry nodded.
When they returned to Tython, Kira was promoted to Jedi Knight.
Harry, meanwhile, received another message.
Orgus.
Or rather, a recording left behind by his dead master.
Harry listened.
Orgus told him that the Emperor needed to be stopped, and that Harry had to travel to Tatooine to locate a crashed starship.
Harry followed the instructions.
Inside the wreckage he found a Jedi named Jomar Chul, who was able to send sensor logs back to the Jedi.
Harry returned to Tython.
There, Master Tol Braga revealed his plan.
A secret team would be formed to capture the Emperor.
Harry agreed.
The first step was finding the Emperor's hidden fortress.
Balmorra
Harry travelled to Balmorra, where he met Jedi Warren Sedoru.
The Empire possessed a prototype cloaking device, and the Republic needed it to locate the Emperor's fortress.
Harry helped the Balmorran Resistance.
He saved a medical facility, recovered trauma kits and helped evacuate patients.
He met a doctor named Doc, who proved to be far more useful than Harry had initially expected.
The Resistance needed access to Sobrik.
Harry created false alarms across several Imperial facilities, drawing soldiers away from the area.
Then he infiltrated Sobrik.
They found information about the cloaking device.
Harry eventually reached the Balmorran Arms Factory and recovered it.
The device was handed over to Warren.
Doc decided to join Harry.
And then Tol Braga contacted Harry again.
One of his former Padawans, Sajar, had fallen to the dark side before returning to the light.
Harry was sent to help him.
Quesh
Sajar was broken.
He'd surrendered to anger and killed Imperial prisoners, and now believed the Emperor was coming for him.
Harry helped defend the base.
Then the Emperor's Wrath arrived.
Scourge.
The Sith Lord studied Harry for several seconds.
Harry stared back.
"Can I help you?"
Scourge lowered his weapon.
"Interesting."
Harry frowned.
"That's not an answer."
Scourge left.
Harry had a feeling they'd meet again.
He was right.
Hoth
Hoth was even colder than Tatooine was hot.
Harry was beginning to wonder whether the galaxy had a personal grudge against him.
He was contacted by Jedi Leeha Narezz, who told him about a ship in the graveyard containing technical data about the Emperor's fortress.
Harry also had to rescue a Republic squad led by Sergeant Rusk.
He arrived in time.
Rusk survived.
The squad survived.
Harry got the survey maps he needed.
They located the ship.
Unfortunately, the White Maw pirates had stolen the databanks.
Harry attacked one side.
Rusk and his soldiers attacked the other.
The data was recovered.
Rusk was assigned to Harry's team.
Harry returned to Tython with the information.
The Jedi now had the cloaking device and the fortress readings.
The plan was ready.
But Jomar warned them that he'd had a vision.
Harry would fall to the dark side if he confronted the Emperor.
Harry listened.
Then shook his head.
"I've had enough people tell me I'm destined to become something horrible."
Braga stared at him.
Harry continued.
"I've been Voldemort's enemy, fought monsters, been a Saiyan, fought gods and spent years travelling with people who thought I was going to die every other Tuesday."
He looked towards the assembled Jedi.
"If I was going to turn evil, I'd probably have done it by now."
Nobody laughed.
Harry sighed.
"Right. Bad joke."
The Emperor's Fortress
The assault began.
Harry, Braga, Warren and Leeha entered the fortress.
There was surprisingly little resistance.
That worried Harry more than an army would have.
He reached the throne room.
The Emperor was waiting.
So was Scourge.
Harry and Scourge fought.
The Sith was immensely powerful.
Harry defeated him.
Then Braga and the others arrived.
They tried to capture the Emperor.
They never stood a chance.
The Emperor overwhelmed them.
Harry was captured.
And for a time, he was broken.
The Emperor took control of his mind and began training him under Scourge.
Harry fought against it.
Every day.
Every hour.
Every moment.
Then Orgus appeared to him.
Not physically.
A vision.
His old master stood before him.
"Harry."
Harry looked at him.
"I can't."
Orgus stepped closer.
"You can."
"The Emperor's inside my head."
"Then fight him."
Harry clenched his fists.
"I've tried."
"Try again."
Harry looked up.
Orgus smiled.
"You have always been stubborn."
Harry laughed weakly.
"Apparently."
"Good."
Orgus vanished.
Harry woke.
And fought.
When an Imperial Overseer ordered Harry to interrogate Kira, Harry did the opposite.
He freed her.
The two Jedi reached the hangar.
Scourge was there.
But he wasn't attacking them.
He'd freed the others.
Scourge revealed the truth.
Centuries earlier, he'd received a vision that Harry would defeat the Emperor.
And he'd spent centuries preparing for that possibility.
Scourge joined them.
Harry stared at him.
"So you're telling me that you spent centuries planning to help me?"
"Yes."
Harry considered it.
"Bit creepy."
Scourge stared at him.
Harry grinned.
"Sorry."
They escaped.
Scourge told the Jedi what the Emperor intended.
The Emperor wanted to consume the life of the entire galaxy.
The ritual would begin on Belsavis.
Harry's expression hardened.
"Then Belsavis is where we go."
Belsavis
Harry and Scourge travelled to Belsavis.
The prison world was already under attack.
Imperial forces were moving towards the main reactor, and Executor Krannus was believed to be overseeing the operation.
Harry fought through the facility, restarted the reactor and followed the trail.
He found evidence that explosives had been placed around volcanic regions.
If they detonated, millions could die.
Harry reached the core.
The Republic forces helped disable the charges.
Krannus attacked.
Harry killed him.
But the Emperor's plan continued.
Satele contacted Harry.
A gathering of high-ranking Sith was taking place aboard a hidden station.
Harry infiltrated it.
Leeha Narezz had been placed under the Emperor's control and had taken Jomar hostage.
Harry fought her and her Meedees.
The Emperor's control eventually broke.
Jomar revealed that the Emperor had sent a Sith Lord named Fulminiss to Voss.
Harry went there.
Voss
The people of Voss were being driven mad.
Harry traced Fulminiss to a cave and met Tala-Reh, who was searching for a Mystic named Valen-Da.
They discovered that Fulminiss had corrupted a healing ritual, turning it into something that spread madness.
Harry followed the trail to the Dark Heart.
Fulminiss was there.
So was Valen-Da.
The Dark Heart demanded that Fulminiss kill everyone and unleash the plague.
Harry didn't give him the chance.
The fight was vicious.
Harry killed Fulminiss.
But the corruption remained.
Tala-Reh sacrificed herself to destroy the Dark Heart.
Voss survived.
Harry reported back to Satele.
Then came another problem.
Warren Sedoru had resurfaced.
He'd stolen a Republic ship and was working for the Emperor.
Harry boarded the Valiant and found Warren threatening the captain.
They fought.
Harry defeated him.
Warren refused to surrender.
Harry had seen enough people fall to the Emperor's influence.
He couldn't save everyone.
But he could stop them from hurting anyone else.
Then came the message.
Master Braga was on Corellia.
And he was carrying out the Emperor's plans.
Corellia
Corellia was chaos.
Harry was placed in command of Jedi forces and immediately found himself coordinating Republic soldiers while fighting through Imperial positions.
He didn't have time to think about it.
He simply got on with it.
Orders were given.
Troops moved.
Harry fought.
He discovered chemical weapons being prepared in Labor Valley and destroyed the facility.
Doctor Godera found evidence of another weapon.
Turboblasters capable of destroying an entire sector.
Harry destroyed them.
When he returned, Godera was dead.
Harry stood beside the body for several seconds.
He'd lost too many people.
Too many times.
But Godera had left behind enough information to reveal where Braga was hiding.
A battle cruiser.
And it was set to explode over Corellia.
Harry reached it.
He stopped the explosion.
Then he found Braga.
His former ally was waiting.
They fought.
Harry defeated him.
Braga looked at him from the floor.
"The Emperor is waiting for you."
Harry looked down at him.
"Good."
Braga frowned.
Harry ignited his lightsaber.
"I'm getting rather tired of waiting for him."
Dromund Kaas
The final journey began.
Harry, Kira and Scourge travelled to Dromund Kaas.
Scourge located the Emperor's position.
They stole a shuttle and infiltrated the temple.
The place was silent.
Too silent.
Harry walked through the corridors with his lightsaber in his hand, his senses spread out around him.
He could feel the Force.
He could feel the Emperor.
And, beneath it all, he could feel something else.
Fear.
Not his.
The Emperor's.
Harry smiled.
"Got you."
He entered the throne room.
The Emperor stood waiting.
Scourge stayed behind.
Kira watched Harry.
"Harry."
He glanced at her.
"You don't have to do this alone."
Harry smiled.
"I know."
Then he stepped forward.
The Emperor attacked.
The first blow nearly threw Harry across the chamber.
Harry recovered.
The second forced him backwards.
Then Harry struck.
The duel became a blur.
Force lightning tore across the chamber.
Harry deflected it.
The Emperor tried to crush him with the Force.
Harry pushed back.
The Emperor summoned dark energy.
Harry answered with his own.
For a moment, Harry's Saiyan instincts screamed at him to transform, to stop holding back and simply overwhelm the Sith.
But Harry didn't.
Not yet.
He fought as a Jedi.
Lightsaber against lightsaber.
Force against Force.
Years of training against centuries of darkness.
The Emperor finally managed to break through Harry's guard and sent him crashing into the throne.
Harry coughed.
The Emperor smiled.
"You cannot defeat me."
Harry slowly stood.
He wiped blood from his lip.
"People keep saying that."
The Emperor attacked again.
Harry disappeared.
The Emperor's eyes widened.
Harry reappeared behind him.
His lightsaber struck.
The Emperor staggered.
Harry attacked again.
And again.
The Emperor screamed.
Harry drove him backwards across the chamber before finally releasing the full strength he'd been holding back.
His Force abilities surged.
His Saiyan power rose with them.
The Emperor was overwhelmed.
Scourge watched from the edge of the chamber.
Kira stared.
Harry drove his lightsaber through the Emperor's defences.
The Emperor fell.
The throne room began collapsing.
"Harry!" Kira shouted.
Harry looked around.
"Oh, you've got to be joking."
The ceiling came down.
Harry ran.
The three of them escaped the temple as it collapsed behind them.
For several seconds, none of them spoke.
Then Scourge looked at Harry.
"The Emperor is dead."
Harry nodded.
"Good."
Kira stared at him.
"That's it?"
Harry looked back at the burning remains of the temple.
"No."
His expression became serious.
"That's the end of him."
Harry looked towards the stars.
"But the galaxy's still got problems."
Kira smiled.
"Of course it does."
Harry laughed quietly.
"Typical."
They returned to the Republic.
Harry's work was finally recognised, although he wasn't particularly interested in the ceremony.
There were medals.
Promotions.
Formal speeches.
A lot of people saying things Harry wasn't entirely sure he deserved.
He accepted them anyway.
T7 received recognition.
Kira was honoured for her service.
Scourge, despite being a Sith, was given a place within the group.
Harry stood beside them all as the Republic celebrated the end of one of its greatest threats.
For once, he allowed himself to relax.
He had survived Tython.
Coruscant.
Ord Mantell.
Taris.
Nar Shaddaa.
Tatooine.
Alderaan.
Hoth.
Belsavis.
Voss.
Corellia.
And Dromund Kaas.
He'd fought Sith, monsters, armies and a man who wanted to consume the entire galaxy.
And somehow he'd made it through.
Harry looked down at the blue lightsaber hanging from his belt.
Then he glanced at Kira.
"Fancy a drink?"
Kira stared at him.
"Are you even old enough?"
Harry looked offended.
"I'm sixteen."
Kira's expression went blank.
Harry realised his mistake.
"Technically."
"Harry."
"Long story."
Kira groaned.
T7 beeped.
Harry looked at the droid.
"Don't you start."
Scourge actually looked amused.
And for the first time since Harry had arrived in that strange galaxy, he felt something he hadn't expected.
Peace.
Not permanent peace.
He knew better than to believe in that.
But for the moment, the fighting was over.
Harry looked towards the stars and wondered what would happen when he eventually woke up.
Knowing his luck, he would probably be back at Grimmauld Place.
And knowing his luck even better, someone would have a crisis waiting for him.
Harry sighed.
"Brilliant."
Then he smiled.
"At least I've got a lightsaber now."
