The Yoshimura family all arrived at the café.
Noroi had come along as well.
Byakuya wasn't at the shop—the CCG had been keeping him quite busy lately.
"Manager, Eto, are these two your friends?"
Kaya Irimi came over to greet them.
She had apparently mistaken Ukina and Noroi for customers.
"This is my mother, and this is Noroi-san."
Eto introduced them.
"I see... Hm?"
Kaya trailed off mid-sentence, suddenly realizing something seemed off.
Eto's mother?
"Hello. My husband has been in your care."
Ukina said to Kaya with a smile.
"Not at all—we're the ones in the Manager's care."
Kaya responded immediately.
"I'm Kuzen's friend, Noroi."
Noroi introduced himself as well.
"Noroi-san, Ukina-san, please have a seat."
Kaya then showed Ukina and Noroi to nearby seats.
Enji Koma, Renji Yomo, and the others were also drawn over by the commotion.
"So this is Yoshimura-san's wife? She looks so young."
Enji Koma couldn't help but exclaim.
"Actually, it's because my body has been preserved as it was before my death. I died more than twenty years ago."
Ukina said this with a smile on her face.
Having truly died once, Ukina viewed such matters lightly.
Kaya and Enji didn't know what to say for a moment.
Although they had heard that the Manager's wife had passed away long ago, for her to appear alive before them and say such things left them unsure how to respond.
"I see, just like my sister..."
Only Renji Yomo spoke up.
Clearly, his sister—Hikari Kirishima, Touka and Ayato's mother—had also been resurrected and returned to their side.
"Is that so? Hikari has come back too. We all owe Byakuya our gratitude."
Yoshimura said.
Touka Kirishima, who had been serving customers, immediately ran over.
"Eto, your mother came back too?"
"That's right, Touka. Congratulations to you as well."
Eto smiled.
"That's wonderful. I thought there was no way Mom could ever come back..."
Touka said quietly.
"With Byakuya around, there's almost nothing that's impossible."
Eto glanced around the shop. "Speaking of which, where is that guy? Is he still busy with CCG matters today?"
Touka nodded. "Yes. We'd better not disturb him. He'll come by when he's free."
"If he's busy, then there's nothing we can do about it. But next time, little Eto, you can invite Byakuya to visit our home. He's welcome anytime he's free."
Ukina said to Eto.
"...Understood. I'll tell him."
Eto suddenly had a bad feeling about this, but she agreed anyway.
After all, having Byakuya meet her mother was necessary.
Meanwhile, Yoshimura silently went to the counter.
He was going to personally brew three cups of coffee for Eto, Ukina, and Noroi.
Since they were no longer ghouls, Yoshimura naturally wouldn't add those "meat bits" to the coffee anymore—instead relying purely on his craft to make delicious coffee...
