Chapter 219 - Chapter 219: Legend Classification

An excited heart, trembling hands.

"Double gold! Double gold!! Hahahaha!!"

"It's a double gold!! Hahahaha!!"

Kael hadn't been this worked up in a long time, jumping and dancing around the room.

[…]

Even the System was stunned by this double gold pull. Did this kid save the world in his past life?!

The probability of a double gold was pitifully low. Of course, it was still higher than winning a five-million-dollar lottery, but then again, look at how many people actually buy lottery tickets.

"Calm down! Calm down! First, let's see exactly who I pulled this time."

Kael forced himself to calm his racing heart. He was no longer a novice; in his mind, the Golden Cards were divided into four distinct levels.

Low-level golden card.

This referred to the level of characters like Yoriichi Tsugikuni and Toji Fushiguro.

Golden Cards of this tier excelled in one specific area. For example, Yoriichi's swordsmanship was unparalleled, and Toji Fushiguro's physical power was extraordinary

However, low-tier cards had glaring shortcomings. Yoriichi's raw numerical stats were too low for high-level clashes, and Toji only had his physical body, with no magic.

When faced with special circumstances, their response options were limited.

They were incredibly effective against weaker opponents, but against truly powerful foes, it was difficult for them to establish an overwhelming advantage.

Next was the Mid-tier Golden Card.

The representatives here were Ulquiorra Cifer and Satoru Gojo.

The comprehensive strength of this tier was immense. In addition to possessing powerful core mechanics, they had ultimate "trump card" moves.

Ulquiorra, for instance, possessed Sonido, which was comparable to teleportation, a powerful defensive Hierro, and extreme speed and strength. His ultimate move, Lanza del Relámpago, would be considered a top-tier attack even in the later stages of the Bleach anime.

As for Satoru Gojo, his Limitless technique ensured he was virtually immune to over ninety percent of all attacks. He had high mobility and devastating offensive power. In terms of mechanics alone, Gojo was the strongest character Kael had pulled—and that held true even when compared across various anime universes.

Gojo's ultimate, Domain Expansion, directly attacked the brain, causing total paralysis.

However, after the battle with Gildarts, Kael realized this move wasn't invincible. The stronger a person's magic power, the higher their resistance. If his Domain were shattered, it would trigger a Technique Burnout, preventing him from using the ability for a short time. If the mechanic was broken, the best solution was to switch to another character template. Of course, Gojo's own abilities could also use Reversed Cursed Technique to heal the Technique Burnout.

In short, Mid-tier Cards had great overall strength and solid mechanics, enough to handle the vast majority of situations. This was why Kael preferred using Ulquiorra and Gojo.

Above that was the High-tier Golden Card.

The representatives were Whitebeard and the Fourth Hokage.

Whitebeard went without saying; his raw strength was terrifying. Even Kaido, the "World's Strongest Creature," called Whitebeard a "monster of a geezer." In terms of pure power, even mighty giants were no match for him.

He was a user of all three types of Haki and the Quake-Quake Fruit.

During the War of the Best, Whitebeard was only kept alive by tubes and IVs, and he was stabbed before the fighting even started. Even then, the Navy Headquarters didn't dare rush into a fight with him.

While Whitebeard only gained the title of "World's Strongest Man" after Rocks D. Xebec died, the title was absolute.

Of course, if a peak-condition Whitebeard showed up at the War of the Best, he'd still have to kneel eventually; after all, not far away in Mary Geoise sat Imu, the world's truly strongest woman.

Despite that, Whitebeard still displayed staggering power.

Then there was the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze.

The handsomest man in the Naruto world. His Flying Raijin Jutsu made him a mechanical nightmare, and when combined with his calm tactical mind, it allowed him to remain undefeated throughout the Third Shinobi World War.

Minato's only weakness was a lack of large-scale destructive attacks, like Naruto's Rasenshuriken.

It wasn't that he couldn't develop them, but the Rasenshuriken itself was a technique with heavy side effects. If Naruto hadn't been the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki, he would have crippled himself during the development process.

Normally, a Minato of that level would only be a Mid-tier Card, nowhere near High-tier.

The reason Kael classified him as High-tier was simple: he had received the version of Minato Namikaze in his true absolute prime.

And above even that, Kael had designated one final tier.

The Top-tier Golden Card.

Those who entered this level could no longer be called "human." "God" was a more accurate description. Kael had a few specific candidates in mind.

If he could pull one of those, he would truly be invincible.

But now wasn't the time to daydream. He needed to see what he had pulled this time.

Kael looked at the system panel.

The character cards in front were flipped over one by one. As usual, he didn't recognize any of them. He categorized them all as "Experience Cards" to be recycled later.

Soon, the first Golden Character Card flipped over.

"It's him!"

Kael didn't feel a massive surge of surprise or joy seeing this character. After all, he had pulled quite a few gold cards by now. Unless it was a High-tier or Top-tier Card, he wouldn't get exceptionally worked up.

But any gold pull was a major win. His magic power had already reached six and a half stars. To increase it further, using Blue or lower-tier cards was no longer enough.

Once he reached seven stars, the difficulty would truly skyrocket. According to the System, going from seven stars to eight stars required three times the effort of going from six to seven.

Specifically, going from six stars to seven required about 10,000 magic power points. That meant going from seven to eight would require 30,000 points.

Recycling one Golden Character Card granted 3,000 magic power points. This meant he needed to recycle ten Golden Character Cards just to reach eight stars.

Ten. Kael felt his heart tremble just thinking about that number.

On the character card, the man had short light-purple hair, thin eyes with light blue pupils, and a perpetual squint. He was tall and thin—almost skeletal—and his smile resembled a venomous snake. He wore black Shinigami robes under a white captain's haori, with a Zanpakuto tucked into his waist. On the back of the haori was the large character for "Three."

It was Gin Ichimaru, the Captain of the 3rd Division of the Gotei 13 from Bleach.

In Kael's eyes, Gin Ichimaru was a man of tragedy. For the sake of Rangiku Matsumoto, he had gone undercover at Aizen's side since he was a child, all to find a way to kill Aizen and avenge her.

Aizen knew Gin had an ulterior motive for approaching him, but the arrogant Aizen didn't care. Instead, he found it amusing—though he nearly met his end at Gin's hands because of it.

Even though Gin committed many sins to reach the position where he could kill Aizen, once his true goal was revealed, one had to respect him as a real man.

Gin Ichimaru's strength would be classified as a Mid-tier Golden Card.

"Not bad!"
