Urashiki Ōtsutsuki's lips curled into a wide grin as he began to activate his personal trump card.
"Time Freeze."
White smoke surged out, instantly engulfing Namikaze Kirito. A strange power—one belonging to time itself—spread out and wrapped around him.
In the next moment, Kirito was standing completely still, frozen in place with that same relaxed smile still on his face.
"Damn it!"
Young Sasuke roared, fury boiling over. He leapt forward without hesitation; a massive purple arm of Susanoo manifested in an instant and swung down, bending toward Urashiki like a giant hammer.
Boom!!
The ground shook violently. After a few breaths, the dust and smoke slowly dispersed.
Urashiki's body was wrapped in a crimson barrier of light, completely unharmed. Susanoo's strike hadn't even scratched him.
"Hahahahaha!"
Urashiki threw his head back and laughed arrogantly.
"King of the World? Gensōkyō's so-called leader? Hah. Strip away those fancy titles, and you're still nothing but petty rulers playing king in your own little worlds."
"Compared to the noble Ōtsutsuki, you're nothing. All I had to do was push myself a little further… and I became what I am now!"
…
At that moment, a clear cracking sound echoed across the battlefield.
Under Urashiki's stunned gaze, the pitch-black cube under Namikaze Kirito's feet began to fracture. Tiny lines spread across its surface, then—
With a sharp shatter, the time prison collapsed and disappeared completely.
"How is that possible?! How can the power of time be broken?!"
Urashiki stared, eyes wide with disbelief. The power of time was supposed to be the most terrifying of all—he knew that better than anyone.
Without his own ability to manipulate time, even he would have no way to escape from Time Freeze once caught.
But this "lowly creature" in front of him had simply broken free, as if it were nothing.
"It really is a pretty good technique," Namikaze Kirito commented casually as he rolled his shoulder, a small smile tugging at his lips.
"Shut up, you bastard!"
Urashiki's eye twitched. With a violent snap of his arm, the red fishing rod in his hand whipped out. This time, the line and hook were charged with a terrifying, concentrated energy.
"Air Shock!"
Facing the incoming attack, Namikaze Kirito simply drew back his fist and punched the air in front of him.
A white shockwave exploded outward, twisting the space itself. The fishing line, severed by the vibrating force, fell weakly to the ground.
By now, Urashiki had already adjusted to Kirito's strange vibrational ability, so this didn't shock him as much as it should have. He clicked his tongue, then spread his hand.
In an instant, countless blue beams of light shot out from his palm.
This was the simplest, most primitive application of his energy—but also one of the fastest.
Shu-shu-shu-shu-shu—!!
Blue beams rained down like a storm. Kirito only tilted his body slightly, feet barely shifting as he slipped through all of them. Every shot missed by a hair's breadth, slamming into the ground behind him and detonating in a chain of violent explosions.
"Lowly human, I acknowledge your strength somewhat," Urashiki said, eyes narrowing. "So next—feel honored. I'll show you my strongest form."
He already understood that ordinary attacks wouldn't be enough to bring this opponent down.
And if he kept dragging this out without getting any replenishment, he'd be the one at a disadvantage. That left him only one option: use his strongest form and end it quickly.
Then he could hurry up and go capture the Nine-Tails—otherwise, coming here would have been a complete waste of time.
The horns on his head began to grow, stretching longer as dark lines slowly crept across his skin.
His hair lengthened, growing wild and thick.
The pair of red Rinnegan in his eyes gradually turned golden; the ripples within them smoothed out, becoming deeper and more ominous. Then, in the center of his forehead, a third eye slowly opened.
Different from Kaguya's red Rinnegan, the eye on his forehead was a golden Rinnegan, its power even more peculiar.
At the same time, his arms faded away, replaced by two enormous wings that unfurled from his back.
"This is my final form," Urashiki declared, floating high in the air, his tone dripping with arrogance. "Even among my own clan, hardly anyone has seen it. Enjoy the privilege, human."
In this form, he truly felt invincible.
He looked down at Namikaze Kirito below and narrowed his golden Rinnegan.
An overwhelming pressure crashed down from above.
On the ground, Sasuke immediately summoned a full upper body of Susanoo, wrapping it tightly around Uzumaki Boruto beneath him. Even so, that oppressive force still carved deep cracks along Susanoo's armor.
If Sasuke weren't constantly pouring chakra into it, Susanoo would have been shattered in an instant.
And that was just the aftermath.
The one truly bearing the brunt of this terrifying pressure was Namikaze Kirito.
Right now, it felt as if a mountain had been dropped onto his shoulders. His bones creaked, his muscles groaned, his body screaming in protest—
But his posture remained straight. He didn't bend even a little.
"The pressure of a Rinnegan, huh?" Kirito muttered, eyes sharpening. "Then let me try it too."
His gaze hardened—and a moment later, Conqueror's Haki erupted from him in full force.
…
A violent red aura surged out of Kirito's body, colliding head-on with the golden pressure of Urashiki's Rinnegan.
The wind howled between heaven and earth. The sky darkened in an instant, thick clouds swirling overhead as thunder roared again and again, shaking the air with deafening booms.
The clash of these two terrifying auras tore the landscape apart; countless deep fissures opened in the surrounding ground, stretching down into bottomless darkness.
Seeing that Namikaze Kirito was not only enduring his pressure but pushing back against it, Urashiki finally stopped holding back. His massive wings shifted, transforming back into arms. A black staff appeared in his hand, coalescing from pure chakra.
Then he hurled it down with brutal force.
This was a black receiver formed with Yin–Yang Release. Once it pierced the body, it would seal the target's chakra completely.
Kirito raised his hand casually.
The black rod slammed into his palm—then shattered like brittle glass.
If he'd taken that with his bare body alone, no matter how tough he was, he wouldn't have been able to stop his chakra from being sealed.
But with his hand wrapped in Armament Haki… he could ignore such tricks entirely.
"Even heretical techniques don't work on you…?"
Watching his black receiver crumble, the greed in Urashiki's eyes only grew more intense.
He had to steal this power.
He opened his palm. A dazzling light gathered there, growing brighter and brighter.
"Tenkuuha: Violet Light Tamatebako!"
Shu-shu-shu-shu-shu—!!
Unlike the previous blue beams, this time countless purple rays of light burst from his palm. It wasn't just the color that changed—the energy inside each beam was on a completely different level, and their speed had reached the point where the naked eye could barely follow.
As the storm of purple beams rained down, Namikaze Kirito brought his hands together.
"Wood Style: Wooden Golem Jutsu!"
Boom!!
A gigantic Wooden Golem surged up from the earth, towering over the battlefield. Even Wood Style alone might not have been enough to withstand an attack of this scale—
So Kirito landed on the Wooden Golem's head and placed his hand on it.
Black Armament Haki flowed out over its surface, wrapping around the Wooden Golem's entire body.
In an instant, the Wooden Golem turned jet black, its surface shining with a metallic sheen. It stood there like a colossal Vajra Shura, radiating pure intimidation.
Boom-boom-boom-boom-boom—!!
A series of shrill impacts rang out. As Kirito had expected, the Wooden Golem reinforced with Armament Haki blocked Urashiki's purple barrage completely. Not a single beam managed to get through.
The hardness of Armament Haki was beyond imagination—and combined with the Wooden Golem, the result was nothing short of monstrous.
Looking at the massive black giant in front of him, Urashiki didn't panic at all. In this form, his confidence had swelled to the extreme.
He didn't believe anyone on this planet could be his opponent—least of all a lowly creature who'd merely stolen scraps of power.
"In the end," he sneered, eyes glinting coldly, "you're all just thieves who stole a little power from the God Tree."
