"Let me ask you again. Is there something you're hiding from me? Something related to the original owner's wish, perhaps?"
The system's lips trembled.
For a brief moment, it looked as though he wanted to say something. But then he pressed his lips together and shook his head.
"No, Host. There's nothing like that."
Heena stared at him.
Then, to his surprise, she smiled.
"All right."
The system blinked.
"All right?"
"Yes. If you say there's nothing, then there's nothing."
For a moment, the little fellow looked relieved.
But that relief didn't last long.
Heena picked up her ingredients and continued preparing the powder as though the conversation had never happened.
"However," she added casually, "from now on, I'll be paying a little more attention to you."
The system's face paled.
"Host..."
"What? You don't like it?"
"N-no!"
"Good."
Heena smiled pleasantly.
"Then we're in agreement."
The system wanted to cry.
