By this point, Frieza had already become the ruler of the desert region, and under his influence, the entire desert had descended into chaos.
His aura was growing stronger, and he was thoroughly enjoying the process.
Meanwhile, on the ground, Frost could barely keep his eyes open. Forcing one eye open, he struggled to look up at Frieza. At that very moment, a tiny, almost insignificant 'bug' entered his field of vision.
Upon closer inspection, however, it was clear that it was not a bug at all, but a solid and powerful humanoid. It was clearly an insect-like humanoid.
This was a contestant from Universe 4: an insect warrior. His frail body could no longer withstand the overwhelming aura radiating from Frieza. He had already been swept up into the air, unable to stand steadily. It was only then that Frost suddenly realized that this was the one who had attacked him earlier.
[So that's how it is. Looks like Frieza got it wrong. It was not some invisible man, just an arrogant mistake.]
Just as he was thinking this, the insect warrior suddenly cried out for help.
"Save me! Please save me!" He shouted desperately, but his voice was far too weak to catch Frost's attention.
The next moment, the insect warrior mustered all his strength and leapt towards Frost. His body was about to be blown away by the violent winds when, finally, at the very last moment, he grabbed onto Frost's vest.
However, he was greeted by Frost's sinister expression.
The insect warrior was instantly too frightened to breathe. He clearly understood his current situation. He was now at the mercy of others, and worse still, his true form had been fully exposed right before Frost's eyes.
His weakness had also been revealed: his body couldn't withstand powerful auras.
"P-please… don't kill me!" The insect warrior pleaded desperately.
Frost stared at the tiny figure before him. If you didn't look carefully, it would be impossible to notice his presence.
If he moved at high speed, it would practically create the effect of invisibility.
'No wonder Frieza thought he was invisible earlier. It's not that Frieza was foolish; this guy's methods are just very clever,' Frost thought to himself.
Then, suddenly, an idea flashed through his mind, and a cunning scheme began to take shape.
Frieza's coercion had already made him increasingly dissatisfied. As for eliminating fighters from other universes, he had no intention of doing that. There was no way he would take such a risk. His agreement with Frieza had merely been a delaying tactic.
Looking at the insect warrior, Frost suddenly revealed a gentle, friendly smile.
"Hello, my name is Frost. I think we can cooperate. As long as you agree, I won't kill you."
The insect warrior had no choice. His identity and weaknesses had been completely exposed. Now, what he feared most was being thrown out of the arena by Frost.
"I agree! I agree to anything! Just don't throw me out! Otherwise, Lord Quitela won't let me off!" The insect warrior begged humbly.
Frost gave a sly smile and said: "See that guy over there? That's our enemy. All you need to do is cooperate with me..."
…
The violent winds continued to rage, and amidst this fierce storm, Frost was engaged in an extremely ridiculous action.
He was wildly slashing at the air.
His speed was astonishing.
Frost's strange behavior soon caught the attention of Frieza, and he looked at him as if he were an idiot and mocked him: "Ho ho ho, what a complete and utter fool."
However, at that very moment, Frost began shifting his body quickly towards the edge of the arena. His hands moved rapidly through the air, and before long, he was holding something in his grasp:
A doll made from compacted sand.
Frost smirked and muttered, "An invisible man, huh? Frieza, you wanted to use sand to reveal him... well, I'll grant your wish."
Soon, a figure formed from sand began moving along the edge of the arena.
The insect warrior was controlling its movement while Frost put on a shocked expression and shouted to Frieza: "Senior Frieza! The invisible man has revealed himself! Your guess was absolutely correct!"
Frieza stopped powering up and looked in the direction that Frost was pointing.
Sure enough, at the edge of the arena stood a figure enveloped in sand.
Frieza quickly moved towards the edge of the arena, and at the same time, Frost had already arrived there.
The laser in his hand flickered brilliantly, dazzling the eye. Frieza was already anticipating the scene of the invisible man being killed by Frost. To prevent the 'invisible man' from escaping, Frieza waved his hand and instantly formed a laser cage around him.
He stepped forward to examine the so-called 'invisible man'. Although the figure looked somewhat strange, he could sense the faint aura that had attacked him earlier.
There was no doubt in his mind: this was the same opponent.
"Ho ho ho, my apologies, Mr Invisible... I'm afraid you won't be escaping." After addressing the 'invisible man', Frieza turned to Frost and commanded: "Well then, Lord Frost, please begin your performance."
Frost nodded obediently, the laser in his hand growing brighter still.
He slowly approached the 'invisible man,' his finger already aimed at the sand doll. Frost quietly gave a subtle signal to the insect warrior hidden behind the doll and in the next second, without hesitation, Frost pierced straight through the doll.
Frieza's eyes lit up with joy. "Ho ho ho, well done, Lord Frost!"
"Congratulations, Lord Frost. You have successfully completed your task... and now you are no longer of any value."
At this moment, Frieza revealed his true nature. He was already waiting for the familiar announcement declaring Frost had violated the rules.
Bang…!
A sudden noise shattered Frieza's train of thought. With a confused expression, he looked behind him, only to find that he had just been struck solidly by a punch.
He felt the pain and impact, yet saw no one who had attacked him.
Frieza's mind was instantly filled with confusion. 'Wasn't the invisible man supposed to have been killed?'
Suddenly, Frieza sensed that something was wrong.
A cold, venomous needle suddenly brushed past his cheek and shot straight into his eye before he could react.
"Frieza! You will pay for your arrogance!!"
