They had expected the Navy to send strong men to retrieve the fruit, but they never imagined they would go this far, sending all four legends at once!
"It seems we made the right choice by staying. To witness a battle between five of the world's absolute strongest… this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime sight!" Trebol said, a grin spreading across his face.
Their own power was still far from the peak, but El, Garp, Sengoku, Zephyr, and Tsuru… these were beings standing at the very top of the world.

Doflamingo had been present in Loguetown decades ago during Gol D. Roger's execution.
Back then, he had witnessed El fight against Roger, Rayleigh, and Gaban simultaneously—and win!
That overwhelming power had left a deep impression. He knew exactly how dangerous El was. Sending four top fighters was the bare minimum required.
"No matter who wins today, Doflamingo… it's good for us!" Trebol laughed.
If El died today… then the strongest man in the world would be gone. That cleared the way for Doflamingo to become the Pirate King one day.
If El won… then the four Marine legends would be dead. Either way, it meant fewer obstacles for them.
After all, Doflamingo was a pirate. Having fewer strong Marines hunting him down was never a bad thing.

El stood alone, facing Garp, Sengoku, Zephyr, and Tsuru.

Garp roared, clenching his fists until they cracked.
They were ready. Ready to give everything, to risk their very lives!!!
The moment Garp shouted, Sengoku, Zephyr, and Tsuru moved without hesitation.
They stomped the ground and shot toward El at maximum speed.
Garp, Sengoku, and Zephyr charged in from different directions to engage him directly, while Tsuru stayed slightly behind.
It wasn't that she was slow; this was their plan. The three men would be the vanguard, creating an opening for Tsuru to sneak in and use her ability.
As they closed in, Sengoku immediately activated his Devil Fruit power.
"BUDDHA!!!"
He shouted. In an instant, his body was enveloped in blinding golden light.
As the light faded, a gigantic, shining Golden Buddha stood in his place, radiating divine might.
Sengoku was already incredibly strong, but in this form, his power skyrocketed to monstrous levels. He possessed overwhelming offensive power and defense that was among the best in the world.
"BUDDHA'S IMPACT!!!"
Sengoku roared. White light condensed in his enormous palms.
He slammed both hands down directly at El!
A massive sphere of pure energy engulfed El's entire position.

A deafening explosion shook the entire island. The shockwave rippled out, cracking the ground and sending snow and debris flying high into the air.
Sengoku stared intently at the smoke.
He knew one attack wouldn't be enough to kill El, but he wanted to see… just how much damage he could deal!

"That power… is too weak, Sengoku."
A calm voice came from within the dust.
El walked out completely unharmed.
The force of Sengoku's attack was indeed terrifying; few people in this world could withstand it with their bare bodies.
But El could.
His body had long ago reached the pinnacle of the Immortal Body (Yang Release), harder than diamond or any known substance.
Furthermore, after the events in Loguetown, he had fully awakened his Dojutsu and completed the transformation into the True Sage of Six Paths.
His defense was now absolute; he could tank any attack this world could throw at him!
"EL!!!"
At that moment, Garp appeared directly behind him, his fists coated in black Haki.
"You're too slow, Garp."
El's Observation Haki had been covering the entire area. He turned around instantly and threw a punch of his own to meet Garp's.

The moment their fists collided, the ground beneath them shattered completely.
Massive cracks spread out like spiderwebs, stretching all the way to the horizon.
The pressure radiating from the two men was terrifying.
"You have some decent strength, Garp… but it's still too weak!"
El spoke casually, as if he hadn't just exchanged blows with the strongest Marine fist-fighter.
Garp had devoted his entire life to mastering martial arts; his physical prowess was legendary. Few could match him in raw power.
But… El was on an entirely different level!
