Chapter 174 - Chapter 170: After It Ends

In the time that followed, Viserys experienced different styles.

Nymeria was like a wildfire, making one feel intense heat. Every move she made carried a hint of provocation, as if this were a duel.

She would look directly into Viserys's eyes, whisper explicit words in his ear, and leave marks on his shoulders. Even at the height of passion, her eyes always shimmered with a wild brilliance—the pride and untameable nature belonging only to a Sand Snake of Dorne.

Tyene, however, was completely different. She was more like the seawater of Dorne: gentle and calm on the surface, but with dangerous and surging undercurrents deep below.

At the beginning, she would shyly avert her gaze, her breathing even a bit cautious. But when Viserys made his move on her, she showed an astonishing performance.

Her hands tightly hugged Viserys's back, even her fingers exerting strength. Her voice gradually let loose, no longer hiding her feelings, and Viserys could sense her uniqueness.

The most moving part was her eyes; though they had become blurred with passion, they remained focused on him, as if she wanted to carve every single image into her mind.

Nymeria also enjoyed teasing her little sister. She would lie nearby, intentionally saying things that made one's face flush and heart race.

She would have Viserys intentionally string Tyene along, watching her distressed state before personally stepping in to help her.

Outside the window, the sunlight turned from white to yellow, and from yellow to dark red. By the time everything in the room settled, night had completely fallen.

Tyene lay beside Viserys, her face buried in his chest, already having fallen into a deep sleep from exhaustion.

Nymeria lay on Viserys's other side, her fingers intentionally clutching a strand of hair to poke at his face and nostrils, tickling him.

After a moment, Nymeria stopped her actions and turned her head to look at Viserys, a satisfied smile playing at the corners of her mouth.

"I finally understand why Arianne can't get up in the morning now," she said, her voice a bit raspy.

Viserys lay beside her, his fingers rubbing the firm, soft flesh on her stomach.

"Though I think you're even more of a handful than she is."

"That's for sure." Nymeria rolled over to lie on his chest. "I have the most endurance of all the sisters. Whether it's riding, archery, or the longsword, I don't lose to any man. My father told me since I was a child that if I had been a boy, I would certainly have become the best knight in Dorne."

"Is that so? And what about now?"

"Now?" She lowered her head and gave him a kiss on the lips. "Now I've become your personal knight, and I think this feels pretty good too."

As they talked, Nymeria fell asleep in his arms just like that. By the time she woke up again, it was already noon. Seeing her open her eyes, Viserys teased her with a few pinches.

"Awake?" he asked.

Nymeria nodded.

Suddenly, as if remembering something, she quickly leaned in to give Viserys a light kiss on the lips and then rolled out of bed.

Nymeria moved very quietly, not wanting to wake Tyene. She knew she was exhausted and wanted her to sleep a while longer.

She picked up her deep red gown from the floor and draped it loosely over herself, not even tying the belt, letting it hang slackly from her shoulders.

"I have to go," she said. "Arianne said yesterday she's going to the Water Gardens today and wanted me to accompany her."

She walked to the door and looked back. "Your Majesty, I know she's doing this on purpose, just because we teased her a bit earlier."

With that, she pushed the door open and left with an awkward gait, leaving behind only Viserys and Tyene, who was pretending to be fast asleep.

In truth, Tyene had woken up even a bit earlier than Nymeria, but she was so enamored with Viserys's warm embrace that she hadn't gotten up.

After Nymeria closed the door, she couldn't help but open her eyes to see if she had truly left, only to meet Viserys's gaze. Her face immediately turned red.

"Good morning, Your Majesty," she said softly.

"Is it still morning? It's already noon."

Tyene felt a bit embarrassed and sat up, but the blanket slid down, revealing her fair shoulders.

She hurriedly pulled up the blanket but quickly reacted, letting go and allowing it to slide down again as she peeked secretly at Viserys.

"I..." she began, but didn't know what to say.

Viserys reached out, his fingers lightly brushing over her body.

Tyene's face grew even redder, but she didn't think of moving away. Instead, she turned slightly and nuzzled against his palm.

"I have to go too," she finally said. "Nym just said she's accompanying Arianne to the Water Gardens, and I want to go with her as well."

As she spoke, she also rose, though her movements were slower than Nymeria's. Her fingers trembled slightly as she tied her belt, and she gave a flirtatious pout at Viserys's playful hands.

After getting dressed, she also walked to the bedside and leaned down to give Viserys a light peck on the lips.

Then she turned and quickly left the room.

Viserys lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Recalling everything from last night, he couldn't help but curl his lips into a smile.

Then, he suddenly remembered that he was a King. How could he waste time here indulging in women's charms? They must have given him some sort of bewitching potion; he would have to be careful from now on.

In the afternoon, after Viserys got up, Oberyn came to find him as usual, wanting to invite him out for some fun. But Viserys had just cleared his head; how could he let himself be corrupted by him?

So the two could only stay in the gardens of the Old Palace and talk freely about the future of Dorne, the situation of the Seven Kingdoms, and the approaching Long Night. Oberyn truly deserved his Maester's chain and his time as a Mercenary; at the very least, his insight was greater than any noble Viserys had ever met.

That evening, Viserys and Arianne had dinner alone together. Arianne wore a simple white gossamer gown tonight, her hair flowing loose.

"Nym and Tyene were laughing all day today," Arianne said as she drank her wine.

"I asked them what they were laughing about, and Nym told me you all had a very good time yesterday." Her tone gave away no hint of her feelings.

Viserys didn't respond. Although they had accompanied the two of them in bed over the past few days, at least there had been no substantial action until now.

Arianne looked at him and smiled, a smile devoid of jealousy. "Dornish women know from childhood that a man cannot belong to only one person, let alone a man like you. I bet if you just spoke the word, many noble ladies would be willing to be your mistress."

She paused before continuing, "Yesterday, Father officially let me participate in government affairs. From today on, I must accompany him every morning to handle Dornish matters and learn diplomacy and trade. In the afternoon, I have to practice the spear with Horta. A Prince of Dorne must be capable in both the arts and arms."
