Chapter 255 - Chapter 258: Was This Thing Stolen?

Hiratsuka Shizuka felt somewhat uneasy after hearing that. How should she put it? This guy had suddenly said something like that. Was he bragging now? If not, what did it mean? She didn't understand, not at all. She felt as though her brain was about to explode. Of course, the most important thing was that, judging by this guy's personality, she was going to suffer again. How could this be?

Hiratsuka Shizuka felt a headache coming on. What the hell was wrong with this guy? Couldn't he just explain everything at once?

Shiro looked at her troubled expression and snorted inwardly, thinking, "Just keep racking your brain over it."

Then, although she had said that she came to help, one person truly thought so. She felt that it wasn't quite right to come only to eat, but after seeing what Shiro was doing, she decisively gave up.

Originally, she had prepared some ingredients, but they were not enough. This guy conjured even more ingredients out of nowhere, leaving her completely stunned. Was something like that even possible?

Hiratsuka Shizuka immediately began looking at Shiro with curious eyes and even exclaimed:

"Your spatial ability is really practical. With that ability, you can create any wine you want, can't you?"

Shiro was somewhat speechless after hearing that. Did she really think it was just an ordinary spatial ability?

"Thirty-year-old is perfectly fine."

Shiro directly tossed her a bottle of something without any label. It wasn't a can, but a bottle.

Hiratsuka Shizuka was somewhat confused as she looked at it. Why didn't it have any brand on it?

"You can't buy that outside. It's the kind that money can't buy, where a single drop is more expensive than gold."

The moment Shiro said that, she was stunned for a moment and then couldn't resist unscrewing the cap. When she opened the bottle, a rich wine aroma instantly filled her nostrils, and she felt a sense of elevation.

Holding the bottle with sparkling eyes, Hiratsuka Shizuka exclaimed:

"This is really good stuff! Where did you get this, brat?"

"From a collector, some foreigner. I took it directly from his wine cellar."

Hiratsuka Shizuka almost dropped the bottle when she heard that, but managed to hold onto it. Then she looked at Shiro with eyes full of confusion, as if asking, "Were you serious just now?"

"Could it be fake?"

"They call him a collector, but he's actually a major drug lord."

"So drink it. In any case, there's no psychological burden."

Hiratsuka Shizuka felt a slight toothache after hearing that. She didn't know whether she should drink it or not, because the way this guy had obtained it was somewhat unbelievable.

"Don't hesitate. If you're not going to drink it, I'll throw it away."

Hiratsuka Shizuka said, "Alright," but first screwed the cap back on and hugged the bottle against her chest.

Shiro was somewhat confused by her actions. What was she doing? Wasn't she supposed to drink it?

"Good things should be saved for dinner. What's the point of drinking them now? Besides, it would be wasteful."

Shiro said he didn't care after hearing that. And when she put the wine aside and prepared to help, she saw Shiro spin a knife, then a silver flash appeared, and the meat was instantly sliced.

Then, watching Shiro's smooth movements, like some kind of performance, she immediately gave up the idea of helping and decided to just eat.

And she thought to herself that it wasn't because she didn't want to help, but because the other party was too spectacular and she simply couldn't help at all. She might even just get in the way.

So she could only obediently wait to eat. It definitely wasn't that she didn't want to help; she just didn't want to create an even bigger problem.

Hiratsuka Shizuka continued comforting herself internally and then truly managed to convince herself.

After Shiro finished the dishes and put the dessert into the oven to bake slowly, timed to be ready after dinner, the others had also finished tidying up and came downstairs. Another person who had come to eat appeared at that moment. Of course, no one knew when that person had arrived.

Shiro filled the dining table with dishes, smiling as he looked at the food laid out before them.

"It's just about time to eat."

And these people didn't waste words. They immediately sat down at the table. The aroma of the food spread beneath everyone's noses.

Lala was also somewhat impatient.

"What are you all still looking at? Eat first, we can talk after we're full."

"Enjoy your meal!"

After she said that, no one wasted any more time talking. They took the food in front of them and began eating. The others were already used to it, but the other two people were different.

Hiratsuka Shizuka and Shiina Mahiru both expressed that this was the best food they had ever eaten in their lives, and expressions of happiness appeared on their faces. Especially a certain violent teacher, who had originally been somewhat reserved, but after tasting the delicious food instantly lost all restraint and joined the army of eaters.

After seeing this scene, Shiro's eyes showed no change; on the contrary, he considered it completely normal for this to happen. It would have been abnormal if it hadn't happened, and the reason was simple: confidence in his own skill.

After everyone had eaten their fill, their faces were filled with happy smiles.

"If I can never eat food made by Shiro again, I don't know how I'll live the rest of my life."

"Before, when Shiro didn't cook, we didn't know any better, but now that we do, we realize we can't live without it."

At that moment, Yui patted her stomach, looking completely satisfied.

"Shiro's cooking is the best."

Lala felt the same way at that moment; it was much, much more delicious than anything cooked by chefs on any planet she had visited or even by chefs in royal palaces.

"Didn't this brat not cook before?"

Hiratsuka Shizuka poured herself a small glass of wine, took a sip, and then held her stomach as she spoke.

"Onii-chan is simply lazy."

Mikan's words explained everything, showing that even she hadn't known before.

A certain Senpai in black stockings also wished that this guy would be a little more diligent so that everyone would have something to eat.

At that moment, Shiina Mahiru also spoke in a curious tone.

"Shiro, did you ever seriously learn how to cook?"

"I don't think so. With his personality, how would he even go learn cooking? Not to mention that this guy's cooking is better than anything I've ever eaten. Is this really something that can be learned?"

Hiratsuka Shizuka declared that she had plenty of right to speak on this matter.

"Shiro is really amazing! Much, much better than the best chefs on all the planets I've visited, and even better than the chefs in royal palaces."

A certain alien princess also strongly supported him. After those words, no one thought that he had ever gone to study cooking; this simply wasn't something that could be learned, was it?
