She grumbled as she sat down a cold towel draped around her neck and a equally cold bottle in her hand.
Her teammates were chatting normally.
Daiwa and Vodka were being as physical as ever, screaming tugging pulling, they truly were rivals, that's for sure.
…Huh… was she supposed to act like that with her own rival?
How would Reve react if she was doing what Daiwa and Vodka were doing? Would she reciprocate?
Would she panic and short circuit?
Would her temper rise again?
Maybe she should try it out just to see what her reaction was?
She was sure that if it was anything, then it would be cute to see, if not her rivals, then Orfy's that's for sure.
Just imagining the look on her face was enough to make her smile in a cruel twisted delight, the face that her beloved could make one of heartbreak, anger, rage, sadness, jealousy, shock!
Oh, how wonderful it would be to see it–
No! bad Hope bad!
It isn't right to think of such twisted things involving other people!
Think about what the old man would think!
…Actually, what would he think?
He would be disappointed, right? But I remember him telling me stories of him 'teasing' friends of his, especially a black-haired twin tailed girl that he got sad instantly after mentioning…
So… would he approve it?
"AH GOLD SHIP!" Suddenly a voice screaming out broke her out of her retrospective state, "GIVE THAT BACK! IT ISN'T YOURS!"
McQueen was screaming at Gold Ship, who was holding a rather expensive looking phone.
"Ohoho? What's the problem, Mac-Chan what's so wrong with me taking your phone?"
What was wrong with taking a phone outside of the fact that it could be viewed as theft?
"IT'S PRIVATE OF COURSE! SO, GIVE IT BACK! Desuwa~"
"Really? Then you wouldn't mind me taking a look, would you?"
"I WOULD YES!"
"Too late~" Gold Ship said as she started reading whatever was on the phone, before her face fell and an almost horrified look appeared on her face. She then proceeded to just hand the phone back with a thousand-yard stare.
McQueen took it back quickly and hid the screen to her chest as her face blushed bright red.
All the while Gold Ship just sat down and just… looked.
She said nothing for the rest of the day, leaving me to ponder what really was it that she saw that could be so… traumatizing.
The rest of the practice went by as it usually did, fast. She tried to do a couple extra laps but she was harshly shut down by trainer Okino. He said that she could injure herself and that nobody would want that so she should just go and rest.
But… she couldn't practice enough like this. No, it wouldn't be enough, it would never be enough.
She had to practice more, she had to, no matter what, so if her trainer wouldn't let her train more at the end, or in the middle… then all she had to do was train while he wasn't at the track.
It was genius.
…
It was not, in fact, genius. She had tried to leave through the front door, only to find it locked, and worst of all, she heard footsteps coming down the hall. It was past curfew after all so if she was caught… she was finished.
She looked frantically around herself before spotting it yes, that would work just fine.
...
Fuji Kiseki sighed as she walked down the hall. She heard the sounds of footsteps, rather loud footsteps, ring out near her room, so she got up and went to go check to see who it was and give them a piece of her mind for being out past curfew.
"I know you're here, come out and we can just talk this out. There won't have to be any punishments for breaking curfew," she said as she walked into the main entrance, only to find… nothing.
There was… nobody here, the only thing that stood out was a completely ordinary cardboard box in the middle of the hallway.
It fit right in, but then… why could she smell a familiar sent in it?
It was one of the students that's for sure. It wasn't her dear trainer that's for sure. She would have smelled him from a mile away, but then who?
The more she thought about the more she realized that… it was probably just in her mind. An Uma who just got out practice probably sat on the box before going to their dorm room. It was as simple as that.
Ah, if only it was actually her trainer, that would have been a perfect surprise.
She gave the place a quick once-over before stating her verdict.
"I guess, there's nobody here after all…"
…
She was frozen.
That worked? That actually worked… She was lost for words, to think hiding in a cardboard box would have actually worked. Huh, maybe that espionage game that she saw on umatube actually had some substance.
She waited for the footsteps to leave before she got out of the box, but now… how was she supposed to get out…
… Maybe? No…
…I could?... Nah…
…That would work…
So, she left back to her room, being extra careful to not make any sound when going up the stairs.
She checked the corridor to see if anybody was watching, seeing nobody. She entered her room again and checked to see if Gold Ship was asleep. After confirming she was, she opened the window, climbed out, tried to close it, and ever so carefully…
Fell flat on her face.
"Owwww."
This was going to be harder to do consistently than she realized…
Anyways, now she was basically home free to go and do some more laps around the field. If she was lucky, then she wouldn't run into anybody while there and could just do her routine!

AN
Sorry for the, slightly, late update, I have a midterm tomorrow that I really should be getting ready to sleep for…
Anyways, Shirou day is coming soon, I probably won't be posting a chapter on that day, for well two reasons, first and foremost, this is an uma fic with Shirou in it as a side character who only really showed up in the first chapters, and second, I have projects I'd have to be doing, and it's a Monday… and it won't be thankgiving…
So, all that to say, if you even know about Shirou day, don't expect an update next week, I can't even guarantee an update in two weeks, so because of that I decided to give you guys a gift.

Omake – Sunday Silence's first meeting with Mejiro McQueen
She groaned as she walked out of the plane, her dad/trainer not far behind her.
Her back hurt, her neck hurt, her legs hurt, everything hurt!
"Oy," she mumbled out weakly, "Didn't you say it was going to be an easy flight pops?!"
She looked at his lackadaisical expression, as if this was the easiest thing in the world.
He looked at her, his golden-brown eyes looking at her with a deadpan expression, "Because it is an easy flight."
"Easy for you to say, mom told me and everybody else of how many flights you used to do when you were still a globetrotter."
"Of course, Halo would speak of that."
She was grumbling while they went through the whole process of taking the luggage back, she could feel people starring at her.
No, not her, her scars, those damned ugly things.
And those who weren't looking at her, where looking at her idiot of a dad, who could for some reason speak Japanese better than the locals, it made a bit of sense, he did use to live here after all.
It took a little while before they made it to where they could finally leave the airport.
Her old man started walking to a random exit so she followed him, he knew where he was going after all, the only problem was that he stopped randomly.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Silence… hah, you have somebody picking you up, you know?"
"Hah? What do you mean, I don't even know the language, you're supposed to be guiding me here!"
"I have a job to do so I contacted Tracen and asked them to send a student who can speak English to help you."
"You WHAT!"
"Trust me it's for your own good, I'll see you later, her name's Mejiro McQueen by the way, be nice." He said as he started to leave.
She turned around and walked down the stairs annoyed, only to find the most beautiful uma she had ever seen waiting there, with a sign saying her name.
She approached hesitantly gave her name and asked for the girls back.
"My name is Mejiro McQueen, nice to meet you. Desuwa~"
She was in love at first sight.
----
Who's going to tell Sunday Silence that both she and McQueen are Stallions?
Not me that's for sure.
Anyway,
See y'all in two weeks,
Be sure to comment and review please, they help me keep going.
