Julie's POV
My face went pale, and my breath hitched the moment I felt the searing heat of his massive palm pressing against my thigh. His rough fingers dug into the thin white fabric, sending a jolt of electricity through my body that I couldn't hide.
"What do you mean?" I asked, my voice trembling as I tried to claw back some of my wounded pride. "Didn't you just finish your dinner?"
He didn't answer with words. Instead, his hand slid upward with a nerve-wracking slowness, reaching my waist and pulling me toward him with a lightning-fast force. My upper body crashed against his broad, solid chest. I could feel his warm muscles pressing against my breasts through the soft white blouse, and the scent of his cologne mixed with the smell of soap began to strip away every ounce of my logic.
