Julie's Point of View
I woke up in the morning feeling a strange exhaustion, as if the battles of the night were still raging in my veins. I went in to shower despite a lump in my throat; I would have preferred never to touch the water, to keep his scent lingering in my pores for as long as possible, but I had to wake up from this dream.
When I came out, I wore a knee-length blue dress and dried my hair absentmindedly; I didn't have the energy or focus to go to training with Max today.
I ate my breakfast, and suddenly the door opened and Olivia walked in with her usual flair. "Good morning, little piglet. Did you miss me?"
I looked at her with a calm smile. "Yes, I did miss you."
She froze in place, staring at me in total disbelief, then muttered, "Hmm... so that's how it is."
"You've saved me twice, Olivia, so I'm truly grateful to you," I said sincerely. "Why do you want us to remain enemies?"
